16Great place, staff is helpful and friendly. We are here every year and has a fantastically maintain park. Laundry and bathrooms are very clean. Dog park is large and well lighted.
Be aware of this place if you visiting for any holidays. They are closed during holiday weekends, and will not assist you with anything, even though their management lives on site.
I have stayed at a few in the area and looked at many. This is best in a 20 mile radius. Bo, Pam and Lexi do a great job of handling things. Lots of trees, big spaces with a lot of privacy. Many people stay long term. Two nice big ponds, and dog areas. Great place to just take a quiet walk. Good WiFi, no cable TV but you don't really need it. They are expanding by 60 spaces and making a lot of improvements as they go such as fiber optic WiFi. Very friendly residents. Roads are bumpy but I'm told they are working on it. Try to stay near the back as the road noise from Nichols-Sawmill can be loud at times. Hard to get a space, call early. I'm coming back year and booked already.
Nice place but not a vacation resort.
Clean laundry and showers.
Nice people very helpful.
Very nice place. The road in front of the park can be loud, but the park is gated, clean and the people are very friendly.
We stayed here on our way through Texas from Florida and thank goodness for this little slice of heaven! After a rough few days getting out of Florida being able to have a hot shower, clean the RV and have a rest was awesome. The management was so friendly and helpful. On site laundry, Rec room, propane for small containers, dog park. The full amenities. Thank you for having us!
A nice stop for 2 nights. Very clean with a large laundry room. Ponds to stroll too. Seems to have a lot of full time rvs there and if I relocating to the area I'd live there. Didn't see or talk to any of the residents but it had a safe and friendly vibe. From the other parks in the area this one seems the best, would definitely stay here again next time we visit our friends.
Excellent gated RV park with great padded sites, nice and wooded area, and cool amenities like the pond deck house and front shower lodge.
Beautiful sites, nicely arranged driveways are meandering paths through the forest.
The largest fenced dog park we've seen.
Great place. We love the lay out of this park. Country feel but close to everything you need. Definitely will be back!
Absolutely the best RV park in the Houston area! May they be blessed beyond measure We can't wait to go back!
LOVED this RV park! Very well maintained, and folks were friendly. There's a Rec room with library and private bathrooms (each with its own shower, if needed), and the nicest laundry room I've ever seen at any RV park! Concrete pads were perfectly level - no blocking under tires required. Our visit was in October, but most sites appear to have decent shade for hot TX summers. Nice pond that appears to be gator-free (YAY!), and they even have a separate dog park where your "furry children" can exercise! Though we didn't use it, it looked like they even have an LP gas refill station ON-SITE! Can't recommend this place highly enough!
You do service me. Your tech Derek came out in his big dodge truck i think. He also said he lived in Navasota.
Understand it's only about 5 years old but I think they did it right and they're adding on really nice hideaway RV Park.
Clean, quiet, saw a mom and baby deer in the yard, manager is responsive. If you want a smaller park that is fairly priced you want to check it out.
Just had a great stay at this campground. Friendly camp hosts and residents. Nice and quiet, plenty of walking space and a great catch and release pond. The grands loved it too. The only thing I wish we had was a fire pit at the site. There is a large fire pit by the lake but, during the pandemic, I wasn't too keen on starting a fire and having potential visitors gathering with us. Ah well, this too shall pass. Check this place out. You'll be glad you did!
