Main Event Plano

Lots of fun for everyone! At times, it was uncomfortably crowded but it was nothing like the masses we encountered at the Frisco location.

Not crowded on a late Saturday evening. Good for family fun, date night, or even a group outing. There is lots to do for all ages! Clean, mask are optional. Your kids could spend hours here without getting bored.

My family and I visited this location a little over two weeks ago during the pass play session. I purchased 8 of the pass play promotions. Moving forward I requested to play billiards because it was included in the promotion. The time is 1: 10 a.m. The young man at the counter advised me that I was not able to acquire the material to play billiards because the were closing. However, the closing time listed was 2: 00 a.m. I processed to ask for the manager then I was told that the manager wasn't available. I asked another employee who in term went and got a manager for me. The manager apologized for the misunderstanding and gave me the necessary items to play billiards.

Other then their cheese fries making me feel extremely sick, the games and etc.makes it better

I love ME, but just not this location. The setup is horrific. They should've planned the space better.

Our organization just had an impromptu in-person event here to celebrate our company's achievements over the past 18months. Great packages were available to meet our team's unique needs, & we had a wonderful time. Bowling was fun, our server was extremely prompt & friendly, the arcade was in great condition! I'd recommend to other small team managers for a fun, easy-going team building activity that won't break the event budget.

Came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and paid for an hour of bowling for 4 people with shoes. I had brought a cake a a few birthday decorations to place on the table while we were bowling along with my daughters presents. We ordered $75 worth in food and was waiting for it while we bowled. The food finally came and within 5 minutes we were told our time was up at the bowling area but we could sit here to finish eating as no one else has reserved this spot yet. We thought that was very nice of him and continued eating. Well not even another 5 minutes had past and a different lady came from
Behind the front desk saying that our time is up and that we needed to move our stuff to another location. We all looked at each other puzzled bc we were just told that we were fine and could stay until we finished our food. So at that point we were already annoyed by all the miscommunication and I asked if they were rushing us out because someone else had rented this area? And the lady said no. So I said okay no problem just charge me for another hour then bc we are not about to be moving all of this and eating cold food. Needless to say they gave horrible customer service and we most likely won’t be back. I was better off enjoying a hour for bowling And then spend my money on food at a restaurant where my daughter won’t be rushed to celebrate her birthday. We have been here before over the years and I don’t remember it being like this.

Overall we did have a good time, but that was mainly due to seeing friends and enjoying time together. Kids enjoyed the bowling, laser tag and games. The burgers were very good though.

The downside came after the party when we, our family of four, wanted to try the hologate VR together.

We went to the front desk and asked how much it was for the 4 of us to play, they said it was 25 points per person, per game.so we bought a 200 point card. We were super excited.

UNTIL we got to the hologate VR game and they told us 2 of the headsets we're broken! So only two can play at a time.

Would've been nice to know that, when we asked at the front desk.

Anyway, we split up and played a game each. By this time a long line was growing because only two people could play at a time.

So we then went back to play laser tag.but we're informed that they didn't take the points we just paid for, it was an additional cash purchase!

Why is the money I spent on the points not valid for laser tag? Really? After the group spent a good deal on the party here, we spent on food, games, drinks, etc.just seems a little backwards and not the best thing for their customers.

So, with a card half full, we left.

Thee got a lot of place two people can play games beacon bowl the claypool have a good time but what you call a place that people little weekend and have fun

Bowling was great and the people working the front were as well. However after asking 3 people for a server it still took 40 minutes to get one to our lane. And another 20 minutes just to get the check for 2 sodas. May not come back.

Marshall was amazing to the 10th power. He was very attentive, answered all my questions and provided the best suggestions based on my situation. Marshall brought clarity to the planning of my bday and I am very appreciative. Marshall YOU ROCK!

Plenty of activities for all ages. It can get pretty busy and service suffers when that happens. The staff is very friendly but overwhelmed at peak times. Food is a C- for quality. Chicken was fried hard and salad had brown lettuce. Pizza looks decent but we didn't order that. Milkshake was not very good. Had a burger that was at least edible (like a burger at IHOP or Dennys). Fries were ok. BTW this is a Pepsi establishment if that matters to you. I recommend you eat somewhere else before you come here, then have a good time playing.

Always a fun time. We had an issue with our food order this time, but it was taken care of and we got a round of laser tag for the trouble. Other than the one issue, service was great and a good time was had by all!

Ate here for the first time. Ordered my niece some sliders and didn’t realize they were raw until she basically finished it all. The meat was completely pink and mushy. I told the manager and the best he could do was take $6 off my meal… I got a whole $6 dollars off an undercooked meal still paid a $67 bill. Thanks main event first and last time ever eating here.

My family went to Main Event Plano on 8/28/21 and received extremely poor service. For starters, despite there being plenty of available bowling lanes to practice social distancing, we were assigned to a lane between two other parties and told that all other lanes were reserved (but even by the time we left after our full hour, many lanes still had yet to be occupied). We were there with our young son so we asked to use the bumpers but they were broken on our lane, and the scoring system kept missing strikes and calculated them as 9s; however, after raising our concerns, we were once again told we could not be moved because, again, every lane was "reserved". My son was very disappointed and did NOT enjoy his first bowling experience, and we will be dissuading our friends and family from going back to Main Event Plano. The lack of awareness surrounding a global pandemic, the inability to be flexible, and the broken machinery made for an unacceptable visit.

Everything was decent other than the rude Manger (I'm assuming) @ the LA Ballas Pizza Cafe. We'd already been here for about two hours, went to get some drinks and were told " it's going to be about 10 minutes before we can help you! We have a a lot of orders and we're busy! " it definitely wasn't said in a nice professional manner. We waited and went back at about 9: 45pm, the young lady said " sorry we already shut down" even though we're watching food and drinks roll out. So here we are. No drink options offered what so ever other than alcohol. The establishment doesn't close until 12am. I'm leaving now because myself and children are thirsty. So to the older Caucasian gentlemen, Thanks for being for being rude.
