Main Street Cafe, Lewisville TX

Cute little restaurant. I love the fact that it's an old house that has been converted. We ordered chicken fingers and a peperjack cheeseburger. Both were absolutely fantastic. Much yum. Would definitely eat here again.

If you’re looking for a local, southern hospitality brunch experience: this is the place. Quality brunch, with nice variety coupled with it’s location in a lovely lewisville downtown area makes this a solid try. The place is also a house renovated to a restaurant giving you that home vibe. Give it a try!

The staff was very friendly and the food was great! I really enjoyed the Texas Scrambler special.

Our first visit to Main Street and we stopped in for a quick brunch. We were fortunate enough to be served by Jake. I cannot express enough how impressed I was with his warm and hospitable demeanor. As someone visiting from out of town, he made us feel right at home with his friendly and welcoming personality. He truly went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot and we will definitely be back next time we're in town, thanks to the amazing service provided by Jake!

Down home cooking at its finest. Great sides and daily specials. It's like eating at grandma's.

I was traveling for business and always enjoy finding the best breakfast near me, always trying to find neat little establishments that aren't corporate entities. Being a small business owner, I value small businesses and always want to patronize them if at all possible. Sadly to say this was a major disappointment. I ordered a pretty standard breakfast, 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. I should've skipped the biscuits and gravy, runny milk at best. The biscuits were doughy! The place is just run down. The bathrooms are pretty sketchy. The service was ok, but not exceptional. I'm hoping that this all was a result of the challenges experienced over the last 2-3 years, because older reviews seem higher than more recent. It will also be interesting to see if the management responds to this review. While looking through past reviews the high rated ones got a response while the lower ones didn't! Best of luck!

Food was bad and bathrooms absolutely disgusting. We ordered our food the waiters were nice and knowledgeable, food came at a reasonable time. When I went to the bathroom first thing I noticed where the fecal stains on the wall clearly who ever went to that bathroom before me was fighting for their lives. The stains looked old, there was urine on the floor and tissue. After washing my hands, went out to the table where I received our food. My waffles and chicken where soggy and fried chicken even more soggy. The glass I was given to drink out of had chocolate stains mind you I thought I was supposed to be drinking a water. I guess that came with a side of chocolate stains. The two people I was eating with had some problems with their food as well, I will not name for privacy reasons. Person A she ordered chicken and waffles with a side of hash browns the waffles and chicken were soggy but what was most disgusting was how she bit into her waffles some egg yoke came right out of it. She specifically ordered hash browns because she hates eggs so just imagine how that bite was for her.yeah, person B had the same problems I did. This situation was clearly already bad but what made it worse was when we simply asked to get the art projects they where trying to call a meal off the ticket the host has a problem with it, so she decided to trash talk person A who was paying in front of her! Talk about customer service. If you can't keep your emotions under control should you really be working such a high demanding job? Couldn't leave her a tip, we just couldn't the hospitality was amazing at the start so what happened? We get bad food and ask for it to be taken off the ticket? This place place has some reforming to do and clearly needs new management I disgusting piece of Lewisville and would shame me if people not from this town visiting chooses this spot as their first place to eat. We've got an image to set in this beautiful town we call home and quite frankly what they showed at main Street Cafe was not it.

Just ordered through Uber with them again and I have to say, they did not disappoint. If you order a sirloin and want a one, get it rare. It will still keep coming a bit and will be perfect and tender and amazing. Everything else is great as well, the soup, chicken, chicken fried steak.it is so good!

Oh man, this place is one of my favorites in town! I love their food and the service. So glad they have this new location, especially since there is more room and tables are spread out. The food is like home cooked meals and always fresh. No matter what you order it is gooood! Thanks

Atmosphere was quite noise.
The many people talking inside that room got a bit loud.
Otherwise, the food and service were amazing

If I can give this a 10 star rating. I would! My oh my, what a cozy place. Don't let the house setting fool you when you walk up because it does feel like you are walking into someone's home uninvited, innocence.

I had a wonderful server. I did forget her name. The food was great just last if I was cooking it myself. The ambiance was beautiful, very quiet, and nothing too dramatic.

It was a type of atmosphere that you have people who do not want to be seen and they are just there to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

I do not like the atmosphere where you go into a place, and you know people are trying to be seen. This is not Las Vegas, NV people. LOL This is Lewisville texas, yeehaw! I really adore it here, and I will definitely be back.

Stumbled upon this place for breakfast and the long line and the abundance of “regulars” told us this was a good spot. Great service, environment, and food! Highly recommend the Mexican Scrambler I cleared my plate. Sunday is pretty busy and the system that is in place to put guest on waitlist needs work, but won’t stop me from waiting in line.

I had Main Street Cafe cater our daughters high school graduation on Memorial Day. They delivered timely and set up for us. The food was great! We ordered for 40 people and it was more than ample! The chicken was fantastic and everyone loved the eggs, waffles, potatoes, pancakes, sausage and bacon. They brought individual syrups and all the condiments necessary for eggs and potatoes. We have also eaten at the restaurant and love the food! Lucila, the manager, delivered and picked up the food and she is so professional and nice! Highly recommend for catering and eating at the restaurant. See you again soon!

I had the potato chip chicken sandwich, and my daughter had the jalapeno chicken. Both were phenomenal. It was a LOT of food. The chicken is super crispy, which I LOVE. The onion sauce that comes with the sandwich is good too. Wish we lived in Dallas so we could come back! I highly recommend! Service was fantastic, and the house it's in is super cute!

I love this cafe.the Avocado Chicken Salad is so good, the potato chip chicken is delicious and really is the “cherry on top” for the salad.service is always fast and friendly, Dixie is a great server.
