Majkszak's Meat Market, Conroe TX

New to area and looking for a new meat market. This was our first trip to Majkszak’s. Bought Filet Mignon, bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp, chicken breast and stuffed chicken breast w chorizo.

Tonight we cooked the Filet (sous vide then seared in cast iron skillet) and stuffed shrimp (baked). That steak was as good as any steak I have ever had at any restaurant.

The guy behind the counter was very helpful. Can’t wait to smoke the stuffed chicken w chorizo sometime this week.

I have found the restaurants around Montgomery to be a little lacking relative to where we came from. So glad I found a 5-star meat market.

I visited the location recently. Meat in the store was good looking. You can see the quality of beef. He makes most of his own sausage. The over all presentation of store has you very comfortable about purchasing meat from the location. Beef quality excellent, can’t go wrong here.

The meat was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very educated and very proud of their products (as they had reason to be). The in-house made sausage was delicious. Some of the prices were high. But beef prices are right now, everywhere. This is now our go-to place for meat. It's worth the drive.

Just a wonderful place for a variety of meat and other specialty items. Recently had their crab cakes, which are as good or better than any I’ve had in a restaurant. Reasonable prices, great customer service.

Once again excellent customer service. I went earlier today to get Cowboy hamburgers. They didn't have any. So they made some there while I waited. The staff is always friendly and professional. Highly recommend

Meat is awesome, not just the Filets but even plain old chicken breast is a step above! If you want steaks, any size, any cut this is the place! This is marvin I'm logged into Janes, but we both agree!

We were so lucky to find this place! We have gotten everything from burgers to sausage to our holiday dinner prime rib, ham and turkey. Super nice people and very helpful!

Armadillo eggs and bacon wrapped shrimp with cream cheese were outstanding. Stuffed jalapenos were the best I have had. What a great idea to put bacon in stuffed jalapenos.awesome!

This is the place. This is an old fashion, honest, real deal meat market. One of the many things that makes this place special, is you can always find the best cuts of "prime" beef. Want a prime porterhouse steak with the filet part the size of a softball, they have it. Want a prime ribeye, filet, or anything else, if they don't have it, they will get it. They use the filet parts, that are small, wrap them in bacon, season them, put them on skewers, and for about $10 bucks, they are a great appetizer or even make a damned good meal. They will custom cut anything. Want a whole pig with the head on, so you can cram an apple in it, they can make that happen. They make some outstanding homemade smoked sausage. They stuff chicken breasts, make bacon, and they sell other sides, that are oven ready. I can't not list everything they have, but you can see from that steak alone, it is worth you visiting them. I highly recommend this establishment, as it is a locally owned business that sells quality products that can not be matched anywhere else, and are they are owned and staffed by good folks that understand service! Oh, and give them your phone number, they have a loyalty program too.)

Majkszak's sells nothing but high quality food. They are friendly, helpful, and genuinely appreciative of customers. They are my go-to!

We have been customers for several years with great service and product. Had a misunderstanding on an order at Christmas which was disappointing but more importantly management took the issue seriously and made it right in the end. Couldn’t ask for the situation to be handled any better.

They have been around for a long time. Meat selection is huge & delicious and they have side orders of all different kinds of things you got to try on

Why has this place gotten 5 stars? Ask the bearded teens behind the counter to hatchcock a chicken and wait for the doe eyes. Most of their meat is blue. Their is no pride in what these people do. Readfields in Bryan spoiled me. This place is worse than a Chinese street meat chop shop. Avoid at all cost.

Amazing selection. Got a huge aged ribeye roast. So many choice and picked up a rub. If it isn't as good as I think it will be then I will change this review if I don't change it then you can believe it was amazing.

Fantastic meats. Stopped on our way down to Galveston last summer and loaded up for the week. Everything was fantastic, and I've been using the Meat Majik seasoning every time I grill. I can't say enough good things about this place.
