Malcolm's Ice Cream & Food, Amarillo TX

Wonderful food and ice cream ️Had a little trouble with our order but the owner and staff were great and we had some laughs about what happened ️

I'm a food sensitive person and they got my order perfect.

SUPER YUMMY. I forgot what actual burgers tasted like. Mmm highly recommend! Their Chicken Bits were also boss. Our Server Brylee was WAY PAST COOL! They were super friendly, fun, quick, kind, and courteous! Anything we needed was right there.
We accidentally hung around past closing because we thought they were open til 9 instead of 8, and the whole staff was super kind about it and never rushed us. We didn't even realize we left late until we closed the door! They served us patiently until we left.

I'm a bit of a goofy guy, and bring my little buddy sonic everywhere. It's a wonderful family and friendly type atmosphere and the dessert was super good too!

Will be coming back, and hope we get Brylee as our server again.

Got the chicken fried steak. Not the worst I've ever had, but not the greatest. Next time I'll try the burger. The guy at the other table had one and it looked amazing.

We love Malcoms but last night was the worse experience we have ever had here Food came out cold my ruben had more sauerkraut than it did meat, Our salads never came out until we asked. The waitress never checks on us. We ordered a chocolate cake, and that was the only thing good and our ticket was 67.00! We won’t be back for a while.we won’t be back for a while.

The service was excellent. Our server anticipated the need for a menu to stay at the table for desert options. My girlfriends burger was a little pink in the middle so ask to have it well done. Will be returning soon.

Clean and inviting. Great food and service! Hannah was our server and was Fabulous!

Update- 12/28/22 I'm not sure what has changed but it is not the same warm feel as before. Our server, Niki was good but food was just ok, not great. Took a bit to seat our big table of 7 and silverware was not given. Kinda off.

We are frequent customers at this restaurant. That being said, it will definitely be a long time before we return. After being seated and given our drinks, our waitress never came back to take our order. After 15 mins, I asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave. The manager was not the friendliest. Told me they were never rung up and then kept making excuses. They were so "busy", the staff had time to have conversations and play on their phones. The manager even walked by multiple times without even checking on us. Never have I ever been so displeased with the staff at one of my favorite establishments. Customer service needs an upgrade.

Food is bland and subpar. Service was OK, but not great. Ice cream was not good at all and the cups were dirty, the ice cream cup had a dead fly on it, obviously cleanliness is not on the menu. Will not be back.

I had never tried your restaurant, and when I saw your menu, I was excited. After sitting at our table for almost a half an hour without ANY service. We got up and left. I appreciate whoever chased us out into the parking lot to offer us a free meal, but you should have had that hustle when we walked in. I'll go back in a few weeks, hopefully after you've retrained (or replaced) your help.

Went there to eat and the food was amazing the chicken fried steak is definitely a must try and they're fries are soo good.the ice-cream for dessert was so good even as it melted.me and my daughter shared a small one and it filled us both up.the staff is amazing as well definitely recommend for anyone who hasn't eaten there

Server was nice when she came over. People all around us were ordering and getting their food before she ever came to our table. Then forgot half our order so we had to wait again. Food was greasy, lukewarm, and nothing special.

I only had ice cream here but the service was great the icecream was good. The waiter even made a special ice cream dish for me and seemed happy to do so.

Originally from New York, reminds me of the classic diners back home! Absolutely love this place and the staff is amazing?

It was awesome. Our waitress erika was very nice and sweet. Our food was hot and tasty.will be going there again.thank y'all.

Excellent as always. Just need a tad bit better Air Conditioning inside. Was a bit warm. Ice cream melted before we could eat it all and there were 2 of us sharing one.

My wife and I eat here pretty frequently. We always having an amazing experience. If you have never been, you have to try the onion straws and one of their famous ice creams.

The service and the food were amazing! Ever since the new ownership I have not had a bad experience, and honestly the food and service are better!

June 9,2022 waited 5 min not busy girls standing talking got tired o waiting left. Girl sat us didn't say anything. Never in decades had this happen.

I would give them ten stars, the best burger I have ever had and I am 63 years young. My husband also says it's the best he has had and he is 78 years young. The burgers are had made not frozen patties. Great ice cream made in house, must try the moose tracks ice cream. Great service and we will definitely be back soon.

3 decades ago I went there With my amateur radio buddies On sunday And I haven't been back since until I Had lunch there With my daughter and my granddaughters And the food in the place They told me was sold to somebody else But it was like I was back in time Because all of it was the same as as the das the day I went the 1st time it's time food service commercial the people it was awesome I pray and hope everybody gets a chance to go there and see for themselves themselves the food the people the people the awesome service
