Mama's Daughters' Diner, Plano TX

This place is badly overrated. Ignore the 4 star rating, its based on a lot if old reviews. Food is okay, nothing special. Service however was very poor, server only came to take the order, drop off food, and drop off the cheque. Drinks never refilled, never asked if we needed anything. I won't be coming back.

Great little place with the ABSOLUTELY BEST SERVICE HANDS DOWN. Good old fashioned courtesy and attentiveness. So many options for kids especially pancakes and bacon at ANYTIME of the day or night! I only wish their AC was more efficient. On these horribly hot days it's a challenge. Even so, if we are near by and hungry with little ones we will stop there.

First time dining there. The club sandwich was very good and the green beans were very fresh. I had to try the coconut cream pie and it did not disappoint. So fluffy.

It was not what I thought it was going to be in. The food was not what I thought it was going to be. So no I wouldn't suggest anyone go here but if he just want to go test it out go do it

First time coming here! Our serve was super nice. The menu has a lot of options. No wait time when we arrived. Food came out super quick and pricing is very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

BEST CORNBREAD EVER! Dina was my waitress, and she was insanely amazing. My pancakes were fantastic, and so was everything else on my table. The sausage was amazing! And the eggs were great with the cheddar cheese I ordered. My plain hash brown was perfectly crispy as well. There are no complaints at this diner. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, just like the sweet tea.

I love this restaurant. I have been to many other locations. Yesterday was my first time walking in this location. The service was great they even offered to seat us 20 minutes before closing but unfortunately we could not stay. The restaurant smelled very poorly like sewage. I’m not sure exactly what it was but it was unpleasant and we had to leave.

Have been to another location and this one is just as good. Good service, atmosphere, and amazing food! Thank you

I am a regular customer unfortunately I am sadly disappointed I couldn’t wait for Thursday so I could have one of my favorites here at this restaurant the chicken tetrazzini had a sour taste to it my son is 2 years old and loves pasta he only took one bite of it…immediately it upset my stomach I’ll probably have to stick to the original restaurant if I ever eat here again not returning to this one now I am trying to keep food down been back and forth to the bathroom for the last 3 hours not feeling well at all the milk or the cheese is old

Always a hit! We brought our family from out of town in here and they said they will tell everyone they know that this is a bucket list place in this area!

I was driving and saw this restaurant. Decided to give it a try. The place is really nice decorated, clean and friendly service. You can either it outside or inside. I hade the beef tips plate it was very delicious. The cornbread is really good, I’m craving me some more. I will definitely be coming back

Always great food. Just service could be better. Have all the servers standing around eating, on cell.etc, not offering more coffee, water, etc. Seems you have single water staff only. I know they do get busy. But geez get it together folks
