Mann Eye Institute reviews
15Great patient interaction. Very professional and thorough. Made everything very easy for me.
Summer and Nicole took care of my daughter and I since we walked through the door. Sabrina got us ready and answered all of our questions. Sarah was awesome and Dr. Tremblay was superb. Totally recommend.
I had the Refractive Lens Exchange done by Mann Eye in October 2020 which I had to pay over $12K out of pocket for the procedure. I was told I "might" have to use reading glasses to read prescription bottles but otherwise should not have to wear glasses. Well, I had problems afterwards from slight blurriness in the beginning and spider web lights coming from car lights and street lamps. I was told it would go away after a few months. I called back after a few months and was told to give it more time. I called back after a year and was told to give it another year that my brain had to adjust. After 2 years I called back and said vision was worse. They finally said to come in to have it checked. I was told at that time I had scarring behind the lens' and that this is normal and can happen from this surgery. I was told to come in to have it fixed on both eyes, which I scheduled for January 2023. I was also told that I would be called if there was going to be a charge but they did not know but I would receive a call at least a day or two prior. I did not. I showed up and was told I had to pay $400 for each procedure. I asked why and the front desk did not know so I asked for a call back from billing. No one called. I then went back for the 2nd eye and mentioned it again the front desk said oh I see someone was supposed to call you but it isn't billing it is the office manager, Alexandra. It took 3 weeks to get a call back and then she said the fees are due to being a different procedure, even though it was a result from the original procedure. She admitted that when I had the original procedure, I was not properly informed and that Mann Eye has updated this consent to make sure their patients are educated to understand they will have to pay for the additional procedures, resulting from the scarring of the original procedure if they so choose. I asked for some type of consideration since I did not get this same opportunity and she abruptly stated there was nothing to provide consideration for.they would not even give a measly discount or gift card or anything. LAter she called back and left a message, saying she would provide some type of refund and then after another week change her mind again. So nothing. They drug me along for nearly 2 years when I called several times stating my eyes were not right and then charge $400 per eye for a 30 second procedure.
Dr. Beavers and the team are so great! I came into my annual appointment and left seeing out being more comfortable in contacts I’ve ever been. Dr. Beavers takes his time and really listens to any concerns you want taken care of. Highly recommend!
Dr. Beavers addresses your concerns in a professional and compassionate way.
The staff, both front office a back, are pleasant.
The waiting was a little longer than I have previously experienced. It took a little over an hour from check-in to check-out. Most of the staff and the doctor were very professional. However, the assistant who first performed my vision tests was a little rude. Perhaps she was just having a bad day.
My experiences with man Eye Institute have always been the ultimate in service, professionalism, and the best medical attention anyone could ask for. They are Timely they are efficient and they do all of this without rushing you are having you feel that you are rushed. When you leave I hope that you will have the same attitude as I. That would be to know and believe that you have just experienced the creme de La Creme of Professional Eye Care. I highly recommend them with a five plus.
Visited yesterday and I’m horrible with names but from the second I walked in the front door the whole staff was awesome and quick. I was in and out in a reasonable time which is always a plus. I’m horrible with names but they all deserve some credit. Summer, Sarah 1 and 2, Grace, Natalie, and of course, Dr. Beavers.
Entrance is around to the right side if you have an early morning appointment, otherwise you can enter at the front through the bank (elevator to Mann on 2nd floor is straight to the back). Not to worry, bank tellers are friendly. Mann reception is also warm and friendly. Waiting room is ample and wait times depend on time of day (less for early, more for later), but generally not more than a few minutes even when busy because the office is well staffed with friendly, competent people.
Actively disliked everything.
I picked Mann Eye because it was close and covered by insurance, so why not right? However, it all went wrong beginning when I walked in the door. Staff barely found the appointment, I filled out duplicative forms and information and waited to be seen just to sit and wait longer. Then, unfortunately, the process took about 2.5 hours in total.
I then had to go back to a follow-up appointment. To keep things short, my prescription is still terrible, and it feels like I could guess better than what was prescribed.
I would recommend anywhere else
Went in for cataract consult! Great exam! I don’t care to be pressured into a time restraint as to when my procedure can be done etc.
Very nice & comfortable. Did not feel rushed. Very detailed exam. Explained everything in clear terms. I will be a return client.
Called and scheduled appointment at 2 pm. After getting notification in email and message confirming time sat in lobby for half hour. Talked to receptionist after waiting and they told me appointment was 2: 30. Still waiting and approaching 3.
I cannot understand why anyone would take time to give review stars and not give a reason.
From the moment I walked
into Mann Eye, the front desk was courteous in getting me checked in and the wait time was not long.
The Work-Up Tech Dani was very professional, courteous, informative and thorough.
I was further impressed with Scribe Amy and Dr. Chhor. Dr. Chhor was thoroughly professional during the exam, gave detailed information of my eye status. All my questions were answered without ambiguity or vagueness. Scribe Amy was also helpful and courteous. I felt I was given honest feedback and also had a good understanding of my eye quality.
Further, I believe Mann Eye cares about my overall well-being and not just the profit to be made. When the time is right, Mann Eye will be my choice!
I had lasik in 2011, my only regret is not getting it done sooner. Mann eye was my choice and continues to be. I had the surgery on Friday morning and was back to work on Monday.
