Mann Eye Institute, Houston TX

I have been going to Mann Eye for 10 years. I got lasik done in the beginning and have gone annually for my checkup. I have no issue recommending people to this company. They have a polite and competent staff.

Routine annual eye exam - Weeellll, actually Dr Mann did post-Cataract surgery (also done here by him) and he recently lasered the scar tissue growths that began to obscure my vision. Great work! Highly recommend Dr. Mann. I now see perfectly out of both eyes, one near versioned and the other distance versioned. Dr. Brunson also deserves high praise for post-op checkups and our (wife & me) routine eye care. And many thanks to their entire team.

Thank you for restoring my vision with multifocal lens implants, Dr. Michael Mann, my surgeon and founder of the Mann Eye Institute! I have worn eyeglasses since I was 9 months old and have never had perfect vision, but I do now! I developed a cataract in my left eye and took a leap in faith to simultaneously undergo an elective lensectomy in my right eye. I was nervous and worried but the staff and Dr Mann literally held my hand through the whole process. Thank you for treating me like family and helping me see better than I could have dreamed possible.

Dr. Paul Mann was my surgeon on 2-8-21. He is magnificent! He called me himself the evening before surgery to reassure me i was in “good hands” and to make sure i was okay. How thoughtful!
A moment before surgery, he asked if he could pray! Of course i said yes, and he prayed a most gracious prayer. I was completely tranquil and serene. I easily remained equanimous during my surgery. Dr. Mann is exceptional! 10 stars!

The Mann staff are friendly and professional. On my recent follow-up visit I met the optometrist assistant, Udesha who is awesome! She is very understanding. Prior and during each test (eye scan, vision test), she provided an explanation in a very gentle manner. Dr. Nguyen along with her assistant-Katherine, were both kind and patient. I received an explanation for my treatment plan and Dr. Nguyen answered all of my questions. In addition, Sherilyn at the front desk is amazing! From the moment I check in and upon checking out, I was greeted with a smile and provided with instructions. She is so nice and engaging, answered all of my questions and set my next appointment. Lastly, I appreciate the safety measures that they have in place for COVID. I would recommend this clinic to anyone seeking eye care/treatment.

My eye exam with Dr. Mann was very helpful in figuring out an action plan to improve my vision. The Mann staff were very friendly and helpful to get my eyes examined in a timely manner. I highly recommend the Mann Eye clinic.

Place is great and very nice, but I have been waiting on my glasses going on 4 weeks now! And when I called LAST WEEK that may I add makes two weeks without the glasses they told me they were barely being done! Now I’m calling AGAIN and they are STILL NOT READY! Now I gotta wait ANOTHER TWO WEEKS! Ridiculous at this point. Definitely asking for a refund and going somewhere else

Dr. Tammy was great, but I changed my mind about some glasses I had ordered and never received my full refund. I was told to contact the one person in charge of billing and was never able to talk to her. I called and left voicemails multiple times and never received a call back. It's been over a month now and still haven't heard back. Horrible service when it comes to refunds or just trying to get your money back.

I was invited to have an evaluation. The testing was thorough and determined that I'm not a good candidate for Lasik surgery, but am a good candidate for lens replacement. I was pleased with the professionalism and courtesy exhibited by everyone I came in contact with.

Great place, from the initial evaluation to the Lasik surgery performed by Dr. Trembley, first class all the way. Procedure performed yesterday, went back for checkup today, my eye sight is BETTER than I expected. Very pleased, THANK YOU Mann Eye Institute!

It was a great experience with Mann Eye Institute all the staff make you feel comfortable and the Lasik surgery results are amazing I now have 20/15 vision one day out of surgery and it will just get better and better. Thanks again Mann Eye Institute.

Went here, and I was utterly nervous at first but the staff was quite friendly, the amount of testing done made me feel confident and overall I would highly recommend coming here to get their Lasik here, the staff here is absolutely wonderful!

I’m so happy with my glasses Ashley Williams is the one of the best opticians ever. I’ve never seen this well with progressive glasses. She adjusts them to perfection and is obviously very experienced. This location is excellent although busy (for that same reason) it’s worth the wait. Everyone there is on the same page and it’s very obvious that they value you as a patient. I had a truly awesome experience.

From the moment the staff answers the phone to schedule your appointment, they make you feel welcomed. The ladies at the front desk greet you with a smile and all of the techs explain each test that they are getting ready to perform. Dr. Chinn and Dr. Mann came in and reviewed my test results and gave me a clean bill of health. I have already referred a family member. Great group of professionals.

Just received the new raindrop optical inlay for reading and it is wonderful. The procedure was very quick and pain free. It is so awesome not to have to pull out my bifocals to see my iPhone. The Doctor's and staff are top notch.

Great & friendly staff and amazing LASIK treatment, 20/15 vision and I still say it's the best money I've ever spent!
