Optometrist Manor Vision reviews
17I was in and out quick and the doctor did a good job going over my eyeball pictures. They didn’t try to sneak in extra stuff not covered by my $10 VSP copay either. Solid.
The Optometrist & her assistant were great in doing their job & performing the tests on my eyes but my vision acuity was not discussed @ the end of my exam. When it was time to choose frames & go over the cost I was in disbelief @ how much it would cost for low prescription single vision reading glasses. The frames I chose there cost $250 & I thought adding the blue light tech shield would be beneficial however the charge for that was $149. After everything the cost for my single vision readers was going to cost $584 which my insurance would cover $339 leaving me to pay $225. I was shocked @ this quote & asked for them to hold my order. After I left, I looked online & found the same frames that I wanted there for $80 or less @ many different sites. Then I went somewhere else, gave my prescriptions & was comfortable placing an order for a better pair of glasses w/ protection that only cost me $100 after insurance. I’m shocked by the difference & wonder why it’s ok to overcharge so much?
Office/Doctor experience was good BUT my husband and I both feel like our lenses (ordered at different times) are not quite the right prescription, have been back, replaced, etc. Probably will go somewhere else next time (unfortunate because we like to shop local).
Expert team knowledgeable and experienced friendly atmosphere, I had a pleasant experienced.
My recent experience has not been a customer-friendly one.
During my recent visit to the store for an eye examination regarding contacts and glasses, I was pleased with the short waiting period; however, the encounter with the optometrist, Dr. Shah- was less than satisfactory. Her manner was notably awkward, with a voice tone that felt excessively loud and somewhat intimidating, creating a sense of being scolded rather than assisted.
Also, I have to tell you that my attempts to reach out to the store post-visit have been met with significant challenges. Despite multiple calls over several weeks, there has been a consistent lack of response, and my messages, including one left on 12/11 requesting a callback, have gone unanswered. This lack of communication is particularly frustrating and not in line with the customer service one would expect.
This experience has been profoundly disappointing, marking it the worst I have ever encountered at this establishment.
Excellent experience with a really welcoming office staff and Dr. Highly recommend them for eye care. Everything was explained well and service above and beyond. We feel lucky to have such a great option for family eye care.
An outstanding customer service. The ophthalmologist is well-versed in what she does. Great service.
I have two active little boys! A year ago I had an appointment with my son somewhere else and it was rough! He was wiggly and we weren’t confident in the prescription but carried on and bought glasses. Yesterday we went to Manor Vision and it was very different. No pupil dilation needed for my kid. There were 3 machines to take pictures/ measurements and the staff were very patient with him adjusting the machine and helping him quiet his body and become still enough to take the pictures of his eyes. He did the vision tests with the pictures since he doesn’t know all of his letters. Basically he DOESN’T need glasses! I’m so grateful to Manor Vision for getting an accurate picture of my kids needs and proper diagnosis. Thanks!
Dr Shah is super knowledgeable, friendly, and overall staff does what they do so very well. I have an awesome visit every time we come here
This place is great. Lena got my glasses in 1 week and had no issues with insurance or getting in. Very professional and I highly recommend them over StoneHill

Amazing Experience! Everyone so nice and professional. My first visit to an optometrist and it was one of the most comfortable visits ever.
Went there for my lost nose pad and they replaced with a new pari for free:) Super happy of the service!
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the level of customer service they provided.
Was excited to have an eye doctor close and in town but would not recommend. Not surprised to read other reviews and it appears all the negative ones have to do with them fumbling insurance claims and the fallout resign on the customers shoulders. The receptionist is ignorant and condescending. She scoffed when I gave her my insurance number (a number I’ve used for years). But I listened called my insurance and read checked my insurance card and they both reconfirmed my number was the same one I gave her they need to train their employees better.
Reading the reviews I see an increased amount of negative reviews recently and more good reviews in the past I question if as some businesses grow they become less customer focused.
They made me wait 15 minutes when the place was empty, rushed through the entire appointment (despite it still being empty), and then told me that my insurance covered all of the glasses for my prescription strength. Then after I picked a pair of frames after trying on a bunch and began to check out they informed me that my insurance actually didn't cover any of the glasses. They then offered me 20% off which is nice, I guess. However, I just felt pressured to get them (for nearly $400). Why did they wait so long to tell me? Why did they not do their due diligence by properly checking my insurance before telling me the incorrect prices for the frames?
I then went to pick up my expensive glasses 10 days later and the manager brushed off my remarks about how the frames weren't fitting my face correctly. She adjusted the metal part of the nose pieces twice and I gave up after the second time because it had already been 15+ minutes and she clearly wasn't taking me seriously. I tried to readjust it myself at home, but they still won't fit properly. The nose pieces were uneven the moment I received the glasses and still are. The arms of the glasses also don't sit evenly on a desk. They seem very poorly manufactured for the price. Oh, and the frames are only $100 online but they were around $250 at this place.
Also, the manager interrupted me while I was trying to talk to my husband to get his opinion in order to share hers. Really weird vibes here.
I'm not sure what is important to the staff here, but taking time with their patients is not on the list. I recently visited for an annual eye exam and experienced one of the most rushed medical encounters of my life. This was a weekday afternoon, around 1pm, with no other apparent clients (waiting room was empty, and I saw nobody else leave before I went back to the exam area). The initial tests with a tech were very rushed, little to no explanations as to what was being done even when I was asking questions, and when I did get "answers" they were incomplete and condescending. With the doctor I had a slightly better experience, but still felt rushed. After doing more tests with no instruction as to what was being tested for, I tried to ask some follow up questions as I know next to nothing about optometry and wanted to understand what I was being told. The doctor did attempt to address my concerns but also brushed them off as if they were silly / not important. She also seemed so impatient to be done with me that she was physically rocking back and forth as if she was overdue for the restroom. On the way out I requested that they send me my file and the images that were taken so I could have them for my records as well as to share with my PCP. The front desk said they would get right on it and upload them to a patient portal and I should get an email shortly. It has been several days since the appointment, and still no email.
