I don't like giving bad reviews, because it could have just been a bad day. I asked for medium cooked eggs, and I got super runny eggs. Cook makes them the way he likes them I guess. I have had very good Mexican style BBQ, and it was very good. Don't go for the breakfast is my recommendation

Went to Nora’s for breakfast, waited an hour 1/2 and got NO food. Came here and got my food in 10 mins & it’s DELICIOUS! 10/10!:)

Sat there for 30 minutes and no service place was not completely full girls just sitting behind the counter talking

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, playing actual Mexican music. I was craving menudo.so this particular review is all about the menudo at this place. I enjoyed the taste it had a good slight zing of heat, but not enough to burn. I added the cilantro and onions it came with, plus I like a lot of oregano, so I ordered more to sprinkle on top. It comes with either corn or flour tortillas (who orders flour tortillas) it corn tortillas compliment the menudo taste. Very good tasting tea, sweet, of course. The service was very up to their best if I do say so myself. The waitress was always on the spot and checked on my needs but not bearing the table. By the way, you also receive tomatillo salsa, which is very tasty, especially with the homemade tortilla chips, you may need to arrive with an empty stomach, but don't over eat them leave room for the menudo for sure.

Absolutely phenomenal! Found this place near our AirBNB so stopped by to grab lunch, and I will say that it was delicious! Priced well, good size portions of the flavorful food, and great customer service! Will definitely be returning when in Lubbock! 10 Stars!

Gave two stars because I ordered one let me repeat that one large agua fresca and it was 6 dollars and change that is absolutely ridiculous they slashed old prices and put new prices wow crazy the owner should be ashamed of himself for charging this much no longer will go and the employees are not like the other girls that worked there. Wow crazy

Loved it, prices great, I had a Lg bowl of Menudo, my friend had the cheese enchiladas with beans and rice great chips and salsa

Our truck broke down in the parking lot after we were done eating. The manager/owner came out and helped us. Such great local people.

The food is a reflection upon their character too: excellent.

They have different salsas to try. Good variety of Tex Mex and more traditional Mexican food. They keep their prices reasonable despite inflation and other costs. Breakfast burritos are a good size. The waiters/waitresses are willing to serve and polite.

Tried to order and was told that they wouldn't take my order because u already ordered. I think they don't like white people very much.very racist place

This was my second visit and I had lunch. First visit was breakfast. I would say about the same about a 4 star food rating for both visits. The waitress today was obviously new but not bad though. Not the best service, but ok. Prices are very reasonable in today's economy. I think they're better known for their seafood. I'll have to try that next time.

Food was freshly made, the ingredients taste like hommade and the seasonings were there. I went at lunch, but had breakfast. The pancakes are absolutely fluffy and light. The flavor and in house, syrup is amazing. The salsa is chunky and more of a green salsa, not tomato based. Chips are the perfect crunch and taste how restaurant chips should taste. I also ordered a carne guisada burrito and took that to chow on later it was good also. This location is small but the food packs a big punch. The wait staff are all nice and attentive. I'll be back for sure!

This is the spot! My favorite in Lubbock. With so many restaurants in Lubbock, this is one that stands above all right now. All the food is good and the aqua frescas are the best! My favorite dishes are the Carne asada & bean burrito. They put guacamole and pico de galloThe gorditas of Carne asada and bean, combo fajitas, and relleno plateI smell it everyday I walk out to my back yard

Me and my two sons went there for the first time we enjoyed the meal and the service was excellent today I went with a friend and the young lady that served us really made our day good food for a decent price I highly recommend it

So he took me here. I liked it. Overall good service and good food. Chips n Salsa was addictive. Only down side to our visit was our waitress couldn't understand us and we couldn't understand her because she didn't speak English.

The Mar y Tierra restaurant is small in itself with extraordinary cleanliness, from the moment you enter until you leave, the waitresses are fast and efficient both in their service and in keeping everything clean and working as it should. The eggs rancheros that I ordered were Delicious, very well cooked and organized the plate, the decoration is good, The prices at breakfast are reasonable. I will return.
