4This is the best marble slab I have ever been to. I've been to many all-over texas and consider myself a connoisseur. Birthday cake was incredible.
They offer BOGO deals and similar to get you there but then claim their system isn't set up for it. A system is needed to duplicate the order and hand it over the counter?
Title: Terrible Experience - Unprofessional Service and Unsanitary Conditions
I recently visited Marble Slab in First Colony Mall, and I must say it was an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, the lack of professionalism was evident. I waited patiently at the front counter for someone to assist me, along with another customer behind me. After about five minutes, a staff member finally emerged from the back, but instead of acknowledging my presence as the next customer in line, she completely ignored me and proceeded to ask the person behind me how she could help her. I was taken aback and had to remind her that I had been waiting before the other customer.
The level of disrespect and disregard for customer service was truly disheartening. When I finally placed my order for a simple vanilla ice cream with sprinkles, the staff member didn't bother to ask if I wanted anything else or if I had any specific requests. She simply prepared my order, checked me out, and moved on to the next person in line without any care or attention.
Furthermore, I noticed that the cleanliness of the establishment was lacking. The overall appearance of the place was not up to par, and it left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about the hygiene standards in the preparation of the ice cream.
Considering the negative reviews I have seen about this place, my own experience only reaffirms the poor reputation it has earned. I will definitely never be returning to Marble Slab in First Colony Mall. The unprofessional service, disrespectful behavior, and unsanitary conditions make it clear that this is not a place that values its customers or their satisfaction.
