Marcus was absolutely phenomenal to work with during our process of finding a home as first-time home buyers. It felt like he was not only an agent, but an advocate through the entire process. As an Austin-native, he is incredibly knowledgeable of the Austin area and provided helpful and fast responses to all of our inquiries. He was also incredibly responsive and comforting throughout the entire process. I would not use anyone else!

We met Marcus by chance when he was the Owner's agent showing house for rent we were interested in. We obviously did not work with him as our agent then, but he was so genuine and warm we became friends, especially he and my husband. Marcus went on to help us rent a different house 6 months later, and buy a house 3 years after that. During both of these transactions, Marcus was both patient through our indecision and responsive and effective when we finally made one. The way things are in the competitive Austin market, I truly believe we would not have been able to rent or buy the houses we wanted without Marcus. His persistence, knowledge of the Austin RE market, ability to build rapport and work with other agents, and command of the nuts and bolts of the process itself enabled us to be strategic in an extremely competitive landscape. He also made us laugh a lot along the way, even when circumstances were stressful!

Working with Marcus to buy our first home was extremely smooth and insightful. I had full trust and faith that Marcus would take care of us throughout the buying process. Would recommend working with Marcus for all your home buying and selling needs.

As a first time home seller in Austin, TX who was simultaneously buying a home in another state, we initially felt incredibly overwhelmed by the entire process. Fortunately, we were recommended to reach out to Marcus Roper and from the beginning, he was exceptional. He has such impressive insight into the market, and offered constant support through every step. From staging and photographing recommendations, to his support during open houses (including when I backed up into our garage door 10 minutes before a showing!), Marcus displayed the utmost professionalism and expertise. Not only was he in constant communication with any relevant updates, but he also understood the urgency we had given our efforts to purchase another house at the same time. With his support, we received multiple offers (some even before the house was officially on the market), and ultimately accepted one at nearly 50% over asking price. My only regret is not convincing Marcus to get licensed in our new home state!
