Marhaba Eritrean and Ethiopian Cuisine and Market reviews
12We had trip from Utah to Tennessee on Christmas and all the halal restaurants were closed except this one.very kind owner ordered spaghetti and it was so tasty.so whoever is living there or passes by the town go and have his food it’s delicious.thank you for ur kindness.may Allah give ur business barakat brother
This place is amazing! One of Amarillo’s best restaurants. Owners are a husband and wife team and are so great. Ethiopian food has become a staple for our family!
Lovely Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurant. Food was wonderful and included vegan dishes. The options to have vegetable or meat combinations for one or two offered a way to try a few different dishes. The after meal coffee that was roasted, made, and served the traditional way was really a treat. There was also a shop to buy Ethiopian spices, teas, beans, etc.and clay pots for preparing and serving food. Service was friendly, decor was cozy and homey.
Vegans, plant based consumers and Vegetarians this is a must stop when traveling through or to Amarillo/Panhandle region.
Amarillo is lucky to have such a wonderful market and restaurant serving North African food. Don't forget to stock up on dry goods, spices, flours and dried beans imported from Ethiopia.
If you like Ethiopian food, you must visit. If you've never tried it, now is the time.
I would go to this fantastic restaurant anytime I am in this area. Food was delicious and customer service amazing and store had so many spices I love. I hope they expand to other states soon!
Outstanding vegetarian food. My wife and I had Sunday dinner here and was not disappointed.
This is an absolute gem for representing diversity of cuisine. Tried the veggie sampler and split between two adults and two younger kids. Now will find it difficult on which single vegetable plate to choose given they were all fantastic. Have no good reason why I waited so long to try Marhaba but I can now confidently say that every day that I waited was time lost.
Wonderful in every way!
It was a great experience. The food was good very mild in spice. My husband loved the cabbage!
The meal was DELICIOUS, pleseant, and the restaurant was very clean while maintaining the ambiance of another culture. Absolutely, we shall return and enjoy this wonderful place! Well done!
Best food I’ve had in Texas so far! Sooo good plus the woman (who I unfortunately don’t know the name of) and her cousin were beautiful people who served us graciously with awesome food and delicious coffee that was roasted and ground while we ate! Freshest I’ve ever had. Love it! Even the grumpy Texan who I ate with enjoyed it
Very nice restaurant. The food is delicious, service is fast. We enjoy visiting this restaurant regularly.
