I’ve never really been loyal to a hair stylist before… but then I met Maribel! I’ve been seeing her for over a year now, and her color skills are unbeatable. Each time I leave, I feel like a mermaid/unicorn/fairy princess.
I’ve gotten cuts, color, updos, and I’ve even had her cut a cosplay wig for me!
She also has personal experience with cutting curly hair well, and is a fabulous makeup artist.
She’s got great energy, and when you sit in her chair you definitely feel like a friend.

I have 3A curls and in the past have spent small fortuines on haircuts in Beverly Hills CA and still left unhappy. I was referred to Maribel by a friend and I have never been so happy with a hair service! I left feeling like my hair looked longer than when I arrived and for a more than fair price! She understood my goal to grow length and didn't over trim or pressure me to come back every 6 weeks like all others do. She even recommended a product for my bf who I mentioned is having a hard time styling and she recommended a true miracle product I've never heard of! I almost don't want to write a review so I can keep her for myself but truly she's a curly hair GEM.
PS. She is extremely clean and organized, more so than 95% of other hair stylists in TX

I started going to Maribel in early 2022, based on recommendations from local curly girls. Her work is beyond amazing and her beautiful smile & wonderful personality just light up the room! Y'all, I *cross the river* for these hair cuts! She also handled all the hair for my wedding, the wedding party was so impressed with her, and my teenager will not let anyone else touch her hair now. To top it all off, her prices are SO reasonable and she will be honest if she doesn't think your hair needs a particular treatment (aka why spend money if you don't need to). Would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone, particularly if you have curly hair. She truly loves her profession and you can see that this really is her passion, not just a job.

Maribel is THE best. I wanted to try getting my hair colored purple for the first time and she made me feel good the entire time and explained everything to mme. The end result was so fabulous I went back for pink! Next up is turquoise:)

She’s the best of the best and always makes my hair gorgeous no matter what color I make her put in it without damaging my curls, also she’s the sweetest, doesn’t get better than Maribel I swear also she is a master at blowouts
