Mariner Montessori School, Houston TX

We wanted to share the awesome experience we have had with both of our boys attending Mariner Montessori School for their first year of daycare. Sharon, Guadalupe, Premilla, Esther and Mora have been amazing educating and working with our boys. Both boys have improved in so many areas and are developing with the guidance of teachers and staff at Mariner. We are so thankful we found a place that our boys love with tons of people that help them grow. Renee, Jenny, and Natalie have all also been amazing at helping us navigate school events and coordinate the day to day needs our kids may have. The whole team has always given us comfort knowing our kids are in caring hands day in and day out. Our thanks to Mariner Montessori for all they do!

I want to say thanks so much to amazing teachers from Toddler 1 class. Ms Sharon, Ms Lupe and Ms Premila have loving hearts and caring mindsets. It’s wonderful seeing my son get excited about going to the school here. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. I’m very thankful to the whole team at Mariner Montessori! Safe physical setting and well maintained environment. Careful about kids diet and allergies. Highly skilled staff who actually love and care for the kids. I have never walked by a class and seen a kid crying and not cared for. Honesty and accountability of both the management and the teachers are irreproachable. It feels like a second home not only to our kids but to the parents of the kids.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my sheer joy and gratitude for the incredible teachers at my daughter's school. From day one, Ms. Renee, Ms. Mary, Ms. Nancy, Ms. Michelle, and Ms. Nimsi have been nothing short of amazing!

Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable and experienced educators, but they are also genuinely caring and compassionate individuals who truly love what they do. It is evident in the way they interact with each student and the level of enthusiasm they bring to the classroom.

Thanks to their dedication and hard work, my daughter has flourished academically and socially. She is always eager to go to school because of the welcoming and loving environment created by her teachers. The progress she has made in such a short span of time is truly remarkable.

I can't forget to mention the warm welcome provided by her new teachers, Ms. La'Rentis and Raquel. They have seamlessly integrated into the school community, demonstrating equal passion and commitment to our children's education.

My daughter constantly talks about how sweet her teachers are and how much fun she has coming to school. She genuinely asks to go see her friends and teachers each day, and it warms my heart to see how excited she is to be part of this community.

As parents, we couldn't be more thrilled to have found such a wonderful and educational school for our daughter. It's not just about the academic progress, but the nurturing, inclusive, and caring environment that truly sets this school apart.

Our kids have been attending Mariner Montessori since 2019 and we love it! Our oldest started in the infant class and is now in her last year of the Primary class. Our youngest started in Infant last year. Both have thrived thanks to the competence and caring from teachers like Maria, Irene, Lupita, Esther, Adel, Mona, and Ala to name a few. Our 4 year old is doing addition and writing and learning to read already. Our infant has been encouraged to crawl and walk and and always has a smile on her face and clean clothes at pickup. Ms. Jenny and her admin team do a great job running the school on a day to day basis and the owners are present regularly and take pride in the their quality of the school and know many of the kids by name. We would recommend this school to parents who are looking for a good quality Montessori preschool with a sense of community.

Clean and Caring! Everyone at this Montessori is like a big family. The space has so many personal details and every child and parent gets cared for. Teachers are super attentive/interactive and the director is very involved. Choose this Montessori if you want a fulfilling experience for your child.

I hesitated.every parent gets this feeling when choosing whom/where to leave their child whether is to work or have them start their little lives. It's a hard choice.

I applied twice and got on the waiting list for months. When I got the spot, I didn't hesitate to register my then- 2-year-old.

My son isn't really the most "opened" child to strangers. We struggled the first weeks. As the weeks went by, I started seeing him hugging every teacher he got to be with. I started seeing manners, sweet and kind words, patience, independence, great social skills. I'm just in awe of his growth in just 4 months. The care and love he has received makes our lives as parents so much better. We couldn't be prouder.

Ms. Renee and all the wonderful teachers/staffs are just amazing! We couldn't appreciate it more. Thank you, Mariner Montessori, for the splendid work you all do, everyday!

Wonderful school & staff. Our children have attended this school for over 5 years and have loved every minute of it.

My boy joined the daycare this year. He is very happy and loved. Ms. Esther, Ms Eudora and Ms. Naydely have been amazing.

Mariner is the best decision we made for our little girl. She has learned so much just from being here and has had the BEST teachers. Starting from Miss Claudia, Miss Maria, Miss Esther, and Miss Eudora, to Miss Rene and Miss Mary! Each one has made her feel safe and special. She has been going since she was 12 weeks old and we haven’t looked back.

Our son attended Mariner for a year and a half. We left a daycare previously with a high turnover. I’m pleased to say our son had consistent and loving teachers from start to end during his time here.

We are so sad to leave Mariner, if we could we would have kept him here for all of preschool. Mariner is a 4/4 star Rising Star school, and this is certainly evident in the schools curriculum, cleanliness, and teachers’ individualized attention for each student. Also, Mariner’s playground is hard to beat! Being outside was always Jax’s favorite time during his days here.

This school was a happy place for our son and we owe it to the teachers and staff who care and dote on him. Thank you to Ms Sharon for your patience and being the first teacher in my son’s life. Thank you to Ms Nancy and Ms Michelle for potty training our son and for cultivating a fun and safe environment where he created his first friendships in his life.

As a first time mom I was so scared to send my son to daycare and I did so much digging until I came across Mariner from the moment I did the tour, I knew this is where I wanted my son to attend daycare. Ms. Claudia is the most amazing, caring & trustworthy teacher, my son adores her. She truly loves her students and invests her time and effort, I’ve seen so much improvement with my sons day to day activities and i owe it all to his teacher. I am so glad I found them! If you looking for a place where you can be at peace when you leave… this is it!

Mariner is a awesome daycare with dedicated
staff. My daughter attended for over a year and I seen improvement in her verbal and social skills from 8 months to 2yo. She started in class 1 and finished in class 2 and had good teachers in both classes who make you feel comfortable leaving your child with them. She built a strong relationship with Ms. Esther in class 2 and I’m so grateful for the time and patience she showed my daughter who can have a strong personality even though she young she a diva when she want to be. But Ms. Esther was like granny away from home and I could go to work in peace knowing my child is being cared for like me and her mom care for her. We moved to Richmond so she starts at a new daycare next month but I’m forever grateful for Mariner for the pride they take in providing exceptional childcare and will refer to any parent looking for a daycare.

Superb school/daycare, my daughter learned so much between 6 months to 18 months now:
- Miss Mariah is just a beautiful soul with Miss Lupita, they taught my daughter to sit down and she walked the first time there with tonne of encouragements! The team is so dedicated to babies.my daughter loves miss Mariah almost more than me!
- Then she continues her education with Miss Esther and Miss Patty's class where my baby learned to clean, eat by herself and do art together.
They are developing a lot the independence of the little ones and I can see clearly the impact at home. All kind of play, exercice, they DO SO MUCH!
- Miss Jenny is the best director of the school! My daughter who is usually shy jumped on her the first time we visited the school. She is so understanding and kind with kids.
My daughter will stay there and her baby brother will rejoin her ASAP thanks for showing love and respect to our kids.

My wife and I loved this school for our child. He attended from 6mo to 18mo age and the only reason we switched is that this location was far from home for us. Our kiddo thrived here, the teachers truly loved and took care of him as any parent would.

Great school! My son has been going there for almost a year now and he loves it. The teachers are very attentive and most importantly very caring and loving. Highly recommended!

Mariner Montessori is not a daycare, it’s a family. We’ve been here for almost 3 years and I’ve seen firsthand all the good they invest into these kids.

Ms Jenny is the director and she leads these teachers with accountability and support. Her focus is on making sure your kids are cared for and have the best team to do so. Her leadership is why this place is successful. I have seen over the years how she’s diligent in getting the right teachers to the right classrooms. She offers support and at the same time requires excellence from her team.

Mrs Natalie is the assistant director and she always has a smile on her face. She is so kind and helps keep this place running smoothly.

My sons have had the pleasure of being under the care of a few teachers but here are some of our favorites:
Ms Nancy & Ms Michelle- as a team these ladies lead their class with structure and a great amount of love. They have helped my little dude regulate his emotions better and become a good listener. He loves the projects and comes home singing all the songs they sing in the class. They are mommy #2 to my son and I feel like every day I drop my son off, I’m leaving him with family.

Ms Mona & Ms Adele- they have taught my eldest son so much! He comes home talking about science concepts, history and LOVES math. He’s memorized addition, subtraction, counting, sight words and starting to word blend for reading. He completes full addition and subtraction workbooks and asks for more. His enjoyment and want for more education is because of these ladies. They’ve made learning fun and he loves being a part of every activity.

Every day I feel like I’m dropping my kids off to be with family. What they are teaching the kids is so valuable. Good morals, treating people with kindness, learning to express yourself and a love for education are only a few things they focus on. To have a school family this loving and kind is beyond valuable. My boys still talk to their old teachers and get to see them every day. It’s a family, through and through. I never worry about my kids being exposed to screen time or them developing bad habits with tv, video games or any electronics. The only electronics allowed are the iPads the teachers use to play music or communicate daily activities to parents through the procare app. Positive communication is encouraged and kids are held accountable for not saying “potty” words. In this day and age our kids are exposed to so much early on. Mariner has been a safe haven to keep my boys at appropriate levels of learning and being held accountable for being good humans.

If you have a chance to be at this Montessori, you’re going to be pleasantly surprised at how incredible this place truly is. My kids have been through each class here and it’s always been a positive experience. We love it here and are so thankful to the teachers and culture they create.
