Scheduled a follow up appointment 2 months out. His office overbooks patients. I showed up 15 minutes early for the 9: 00 appointment. Brought to room at 9: 15, and I sat in the exam room until 9: 55. The MA came in only to tell me that Dr. Alcantara was running late and it would likely be another 20 to 30 minutes. I was told that I could leave if I preferred, which I did. When I left, every seat in the waiting room was full and there were numerous people standing. I understand that billing reimbursement is low these days and doctors try to maximize patients, but this is wasting my time and money.

My most appreciated gratitude towards this man and his personal staffing. I have nothing but blessing and great comment to add to this review. God bless you Dr. Mario Alcántara.

Dr. Alcantara is not only an amazing Dr, but he’s an incredible human being. Dr. Alcantara has been caring for me for over 3 years now, and from the moment I met him, I saw that he is extremely humble, and caring for his patients. He treats everyone like Family. He’s very upfront and honest. During my recovery, i was astonished as to the way everthing played out. Every step of recovery happened, just like he said it would. This Man knows his craft. This doctor runs an assembly line to maximize billing. 10 people waiting in the room for him. Billed $456 for 5-minute appointment coded as 50-minutes. A fellow patient in the room had issues w/ his surgury and had to wait a month to get an appointment.

Dr Alacantara is an amazing doctor. Cares for his patients needs. He has a great bedside manner. He has done 3 surgeries on me & he has done a great job. I wish there were more doctors like him. Thank you Dr Alacantara & your staff for all you do!

Dr. Alcantara was very nice and kind. During my appointment he was very Informative and respectful. He could tell I was nervous and he did his best to make me feel at peace.

Dr. Alcantara was also my surgeon. I saw him before I got knocked out (lol) and was very friendly and reassured me I would be okay.
