Market Street, McKinney TX

This was your typical Grocery Store that you would find anywhere else. The employees were very courteous and prompt at the cashiers. The store was stocked and provided everything we needed that we were looking for. The store was also very clean. I have no complaints and overall had a good experience here and would probably come back again if I was in the area.

Went here to get my COVID booster shot and they were very quick and efficient. Just wish there was a waiting area that wasn't in the middle of shoppers paths.

I have thought a lot about this post but I have decided to write it. I love this store but I cringe every time I have to go to the butcher department. The gentleman behind the counter are not nice, they do not want to help you and they act like when you speak to them you are bothering them. I went first thing this morning because the prime rib was on sale. When I got to the department all of the pre-packaged bone-in prime rib 4 bones clear wrap had been ripped open. I knew I had to go to the butcher to ask if there was some in the back that were not opened. Every time I have to stand there and wait for them to acknowledge me. I was the one there. The guy behind the counter who usually wears a cloth mask covering his nose all the way down his neck finally asked if he could help me. I told him my situation and he said I can wrap those for you and I said could you please check in the back for ones that have not been ripped open. I knew he didn’t wanna go back there but he did and when he came back he came back with a prime rib that was completely full of fat. So instead of asking him to take it back to find one that wasn’t as fatty. I just waited and finally a lady brought one back and grabbed that one. I would also like to point out that all the others were still ripped open and they did not get covered before left and I was there for an hour. It is strange to me because it’s only that department that is not pleasant everywhere else in this entire store people are nice and asked if they can help. My suggestion would be if you don’t want to be in that department anymore please go somewhere else. I cannot be the only person they’re treating this way. And it’s not just this time it’s every time I go to the butcher department. I don’t expect anything to be done I just want to vent because I’m tired of cringing every time I go to the butcher department. So I just go to To a different grocery store. (picture below is of the one he brought out) I would also like to point out he didn’t ask which brand of meat I would like.

Love this grocery store! Just wish they’d keep Frostie diet root beer in stock all the time. Besides that, it’s a wonderful store…always clean, very helpful employees, and I love that the shopping carts are taken back in and not left in the parking lot to hit your car.

Planned a meal with veal today. Almost knew I would find it at Market Street. Nope, Didn't have it. Why not? Sign says "Butcher Shop". I don't understand. If it's not peanutbutter or ground beef, I guess we can't get it. Might as well be living in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Disappointing at best. This would be a good place to open a meat market.

Wow. Poor service at the meat deli today. Waited in line for almost 10 minutes just to be skipped over twice by the deli boy behind the counter. Walked out and went to Sprouts. They had it together. Did all of my shopping there.

Sorry. We purchased all seven boxes of Mrs. T's Pierogis. Wait. No, I'm not sorry. Couldn't find them and a couple of other items in any other store closer to me. Worth a bit of a drive.

I went to get a birthday cake, and within just a few minutes they headed decorated exactly the way I asked. Service like that is rarely found! Would definitely recommend!

Whoever manages the deli needs to train their staff. They repeatedly mess up online orders. This is the third time that my deli order was wrong, incomplete or that they sliced the meat with the casing. This had to go in the trash and I have to go BACK out to the store so my kids have lunch tomorrow. Management really doesn't seemed concerned to fix the issue. Not what you would expect from a Market Street.

Have to update my review. Lately I've been going and getting pizza about 7: 30-8 at night. Twice this week, BOTH drink stations shut down all diet drinks as the sweetener was out. Also, something even more interesting is a chicken wing I had tonight. Wow, the flat was mostly solid thick bone. No wonder two wings cost $4. It was all bone! Not pleased with the frankenchicken. LoL

Love this store. Has most anything you might need or want. And if they don't they will try and get it for you. Great customer care!

I really love this store. Great variety, fresh produce is wonderful. I always find something new to try. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great neighborhood grocery store.

One of my favorite markets. Always taken care of here and i find everything I need or someone is there to help me find it. Always friendly at checkout and love that they bring your groceries out to the car still.

Used to work here. I would never eat here The back of the kitchen is disgusting none of the food is actually home made it all come out of a bag and to top it all off management is terrible and rude was there for almost 3 years and they couldn’t spell my name right.

Amazing store. Whenever I come to Texas I always have to go in and walk around. When I lived in Texas that's where I did my grocery shopping.

Great selection of food. Love the little Cafe, Starbucks and upstairs eating area! Also has the cutest seasonal gift shop ever!

I wish the prices were a bit lower but I love this location. It's not overly huge, always clean, and the employees are very helpful. The bakery is my favorite for cakes! I always order here for birthdays and so on.

I have only had the pleasure of visiting this store a few times while I am in Mckinny TX. And might I say each time I visit I am SHOCKED by the amazing service, FRESH PRODUCE AND MEATS, and TONS of prepped meals! The cashiers are so friendly and helpful they even take your cart out to your car for you!

Great selections for dinner for 2 people. Everything is fresh and delicious. So many wonderful choices. Workers are polite and friendly! Will definitely be back.
