Marten is not one of the best companies 2 drive for they are paid 2 lie 2 u just 2 get u there 2 help pay a truck note. They trucks only run 63mph some my do 64 r 65. They will only pay you zip code to zip code. You don't get paid for any extra stops. They will always lie and tell you they lost your paperwork
You can only make a thousand dollars at Marten. The Dispatcher is the load planner, customer service rep, etc. So put it all together
If your looking for a job Marten is not it. Marten have new trucks but only certain people get them
Swift Warner JB hunt run faster then Marten trucks. Folks don't waste your time, u will b mad. You will loss your family your house and car working for Marten. They will hurry u up outta orientation and on the last day u will sit all day until 6pm then they will put u out. U will most likely go somewhere else and recover a truck that will not get paid for its not worth it. You have 2 report bk 2 the yard every month for inspection this is stuff u learn on your own. Marten is not the best. If you like loosing out on things drive for Marten. They don't even care about your family they don't care about any holidays u got 2 work. Marten is a slave driven company! Everyone that works for Marten is family yes they are all relatives. Marten is just like all other companies they are a revoling door. Driver's leave daily. Don't waste your time.

Well supposedly they ran my application the young lady said 13 months ago you hadn't ticket and an accident in a non commercial vehicle. But before that incident I had not had a ticket in 20 years. Never got a call back. That's the way they do business

Been working here for 1 year. Been good so far. Had a motorcycle accident recently and took some time off. Not one person has contacted me to even follow up. Don't mean I won't go back, just makes one think how people are.

After reading others reviews, that's right. People in the shop are not helpful at all. Everybody goes to the breaks at the same time. No empathy at all. Marten Transport wants all drivers to keep in good condition the equipment, but without help, how is that possible?

I prefer going to another shop.

Said I was hired, made me quit my current job, and then lied about my BIPAP compliance report, thus saying they couldn't hire. Now unemployed.

It was terrible. My Husband was picking up the trucks here to drop off from this Desoto Texas trucking company.to take to another requesting company in Irving Texas. No help or assistance was given from none of the workers that were working in the office. My Husband and I had to locate 3 trucks on THIS property ourselves.smh. Laziness is what I call it. Never have we ran in any problems before with any trucking companies. If I could give a fat 0

The laredo n Desoto terminals spotless Bathrooms. The mcallen terminal needs to be kept Clean at all times. It's always filthy. They clean the bathroom but jot enough always very dirty.

Extremely unprofessional company mailing out notes like this to ex employees after holding personal property hostage. Not sure this is totally legal Marten Transport would love to hear from your legal team on this one! Beware of this company is this letter is apparently signed Randy Marten CEO. Don't recommend this company for anyone.

Good company to work for. Never really had any big issues working there. Guaranteed pay is a plus. Even tho I'm not a fan of the Qualcomm system, it's was easy to do what you needed in order to get the job done.

I have to admit that you hear so much negativity about larger trucking companies. However, my experience so far with Martin has been amazing

They have always treated my husband and I well. Even when they didn’t have miles they made sure we got paid.
