For anyone going thru any type of custody battle I highly recommend Marci's team. I went thru a custody modification suit and this was my second time using the Martinez team. I hired Marci to get my son back who was taken by his father at 2 weeks old. 7 months and almost 11 grand in, all we have are temporary orders. My son's deadbeat dad was given supervised visitation due to failing a drug screen. It has been 7 months since he's seen my son. He never utilized his visitation, he quit paying court ordered child support, refused court ordered mediation, changed his phone number, left his job and was unresponsive to the Attorney. He never had an Attorney so I had to foot his portion of the bill too. Marci insisted on sending letters and emails for 4 months after the hearing not only beating a dead horse but costing me money. How many emails and letters do the courts require you to send someone before you reach out to the judge? While I know lawyers are costly, I was reminded by the office daily, how I was put on a payment plan (because what average person can cough up 2 grand a week) and how she didmt have to. She had already been paid over 10 grand before the pymt plan and I never missed a payment. I am 21, make $16 an hour and my credit card is maxed. I let her go two weeks ago because I was constantly reminded of what I couldn't afford yet I was being nickled and dimed with ridiculous charges and emailing and sending a deadbeat letters that she knew wasn't going to cooperate or respond. I moved back in with my mom and every single paycheck went to paying this woman for nearly 7 months and I'm back at square one. I know her reply will consist of how she gave me a payment plan and didn't have to and how she got my son back.she did draw up the papers and a process server served him. I drove to Ft With the next day, knocked on the door and got my son back. I was constantly told this was a complex case and that was why it cost so much. It really wasn't. She even brought an additional lawyer to the temporary hearing double charging me and when I questioned her on it, I was told they didn't know what to expect. I told them he wouldnt have an attorney and no attorney on his behalf ever reached out to her. It was just another way to take more money from me. I'm glad she has all these 5 star reviews from these millionaires out here but my experience was far from 5 stars. Find an Attorney that wants justice for you and that doesn't harass you for money constantly.
