Well shaded, layed out with plenty of room for the little ones to run around. All of the play equipment is extremely well maintained and over a nice rubber surface.
The pond is stocked year round with plenty of areas to fish.
Quite an enjoyable area.

Nice park with a really neat playground for kids. They have a putt-putt course too but the place that gives out clubs/balls was closed when we went.

This is a GREAT PARK. There's a SMALL LAKE stocked with FISH. This little lake has a nice PAVED TRAIL around it. There's PUT PUT golf course here. A PAVILION with GIANT GRILLS. A DOG PARK close by. A INDOOR POOL in the AQUATIC FITNESS CENTER. And the DUCKS, SQUIRRELS and VULTURES are friendly.

I've been to this park a number of times. It's a nice place for locals in Katy with a big pond, large playground area, and other amenities.

Never knew this park exist. We enjoyed the park to the fullest. Watch out for the vultures there are alot of them there. The ducks are fun to watch. Parking can be ridiculous. So get there early.

My roommates dogs love this place! They can swim and run while we walk around the track. We can go around the whole track and if the dogs want to play anywhere in the park we can see them from anywhere on the track. They have bathrooms fir the humans and 2 dog washes fir after your fur babies get out their energy.

We love this park. It has squirrels and ducks that are very friendly! The pond is beautiful, and people like to fish in it. There's a nice covered shelter for parties that has open sides, so you are still outdoors. There are lots of picnic tables to sit and relax or have a picnic. The walking trail around the whole park is beautiful and has some shaded parts and several benches to sit and relax. There's a nice playground for the children. And there's putt putt golf. The center offers a swimming pool and a weight room.

Nice trail for biking and walking.there are ducks in the pond lake area for kids to enjoy the left part of the trail is paved and the other side is compared dirt so Incase you taking a stroller or scooter for kids just be aware of that and bring out the appropriate equipment. Plenty of parking and surrounded by quiet neighborhood.

Absolutely gorgeous park and playground. Our little one loves the playground. Beautiful walking view along the path. Many places for picnic and family time.

Peaceful place! Just don't feed the ducks because they will follow you everywhere once you feed one.love the Squirrel, most of them are friendly, they are use to humans at this park

We absolutely love Mary Jo Peckham Park. It's one of my favorite parks in the whole Houston area! I'm hesitant to even review it because it's such a hidden gem in Katy proper. It's a Harris County park we've been enjoying for many years. Some of the park's wonderful highlights are a very large, catch and release lake with a fishing pier, a koi fish pond, a walking trail, wonderful children's play area, a magnificent, large, covered, picnic area, tables and grills throughout, and one of our favorites- two miniature golf courses. Putters and balls can be checked out from the rec center when it's open, but eventually we decided to buy our own so we can enjoy a little putt-putt golf whenever we would like, not just when the center is open. In addition, the center does have a pool and workout room, plus different classes for the community, but this may be reserved for Harris County residents. We have hosted and attended picnic events large and small for family and friend events, but we enjoy going just ourselves, too. There are LOTS of ducks there, and seasonally it is common to see broods of ducklings, too, if you like that kind of thing. I love it! We and many others used to feed the ducks, but I think the park discourages that now. Still, some people do, and the ducks do not shy away from free handouts. They may bombard you if they think free food is involved so beware! This park is a definite go-to if you are ever in the Katy area and want to enjoy the outdoors. It's surrounded by several other smaller parks, but don't let that fool you. Keep going down the drive past the gates to get to this hidden treasure!
Don't worry. My pictures hardly do it justice!

Great place to bring the grandkids to play. Hope they stripe the parking lot. Would help some people from unintentionally double parking. Lots of people exercising and fishing.

A family park that has just about everything you'd want! There's fishing, playground, walking trails, a pier, and even mini golf! The atmosphere is relaxing, peaceful, and altogether enjoyable. I highly recommend a visit!
