Massage by Pre Bodyworks, Houston TX

Thought I'd try a massage to help my plantar fasciitis and am so glad I did! Luckily I found Garland at PreBodyworks! He was just the catalyst I needed to help with my healing.

Garland worked out all the kinks in my shoulders and back. He is a great conversationalist. He has great spirit and you can feel that through his work.

I had the pleasure of sitting in on my sister's appointment to watch how Garland used the PEMF+ machine on his clients. I've only been to one provider for this service so I wanted to see how his sessions went in case I moved back home. My sister booked a 1 hour PEMF session which I thought was pretty basic but turned out to be much more involved than I expected. Garland starts his services with questions about what the client is experiencing, where, and for how long.

Once she gave him the information he seemed to know exactly what to do. He was very thorough in his approach to her issues with stretching and recalibration prior to the service she requested. He explains what is causing the issues that are mentioned and even how they can be prevented in the future. He does all this while being able to make the person laugh through the uncomfortableness. Even though I was not receiving the service, I enjoyed watching him help my sister loosen up. I was even able to ask a few questions about what was going on to which he answered happily. He's very competent and you can tell he loves what he does.

By the time the session was complete, her pain was gone, swelling reduced tremendously, and she even had some energy throughout the day (looked like she lost a few lbs on the table). I have a few issues of my own and I'm definitely ready to schedule an appointment with him in the near future.

If you're like me - active [and maybe a tad broken for one reason or another ] and haven't gone to see him yet -> go ahead and schedule the appointment. But don't take them all! Save me a slot lol

Not sure where to start.wish I could leave 100 stars! The therapy I received at ️Pre Body Works from Garland was not only professional and thorough, it was without a doubt obsolete in comparison to any other therapy I have ever received!

It was great experience. I workout a lot and often have sore tired muscles. After the massage, i felt rejuvenated.

I bought this as a gift and he loved it! He came back from the massage saying that he felt really amazing. The whole antique process with smooth and I got a chance to sit in on the orientation and his explanation of the process and would he be doing and the benefits was just very helpful. Overall a fabulous experience.

The therapy room is calming. Garland is knowledgeable at what he does and is gentle in his execution. What sets him apart from others is that he seems to actually care in one’s improvements and uses different treatment modalities. I have gone to chiropractors,
acupuncturists and he has helped me more than they have. I highly recommend him.

Garland is great at his job! My brother recommended me to get a massage from him and for a 1st time experienced it really helped alleviate a lot of the pain I get after workouts. I felt like I was floating when I left his place. 100% recommend getting a massage from Garland you will not be disappointed!

This was my first visit to Garland after 3 referrals and my service was amazing. I was in a lot of pain and he was very understanding, tentative and knowledgeable. I will recommend him and his service to anyone I meet.

Garland does an amazing job! Being a body worker I get a lot of aches and pains. With regular sessions with Garland I no longer get those aches and pains, feel more relaxed, less stressed and more flexible. He is awesome and I love the electrons+ the pemf machine adds healing energy to the session.

My issue is not related to the talent, but rather the customer service and lack of integrity. I booked an appointment with Garland. He sent me a confirmation with the date and time. I text the day of the appt to reconfirm but even with no response still went. I arrived and no one was there. I waited for at least 10 mins. He never showed and never responded while I was waiting. 45 minutes later he contacts me. I was already back home. During the conversation he only added insult to injury. I won't be back ever again.

My massage was really lovey and I really loved how the lotion Garland used my skin feel afterwards! Garland is super organized with his business and I love that he's invested in continuing education to stay on the edge of massage techniques. He's very communicative and is great at working with what you need.

The session with Garland was really great! Very professional and with awsome knowledge. I had a lot of tension in my back and neck and with 1 session got a very great improvment! If looking for a sport terapist he is really good!

Always a great experience. I run and participate in a lot of high performance activities so this allows me to properly restore my body! Highly recommended!

My back feels brand new! Garland is very thorough at what he does and explains why he is doing what he is doing every step of the way. He was able to tell that I don't engage some of my muscles, which is super helpful to know so I can correct that in the gym. He also caught some stuff that my chiropractor didn't. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely recommend going.

Amazing experience and massage. Really knows how to target specific areas and gave me great tips to fix small things I was doing at home that could help. Uses cool message therapy devices to help enhance the experience. Will be going back for sure!

I have been to an orthopedic, two actually, airrosti and PT for issues i am having in my shoulder. I went to Garland after recommendations from two friends who insisted he saved them from surgery and could work miracles. Well, I too am a believer. What I loved is that as he worked my shoulder and back, he was able to explain to me what was happening with my muscles and nerves, joints and more. He is incredibly knowledgable, is one of those gifted massage therapists who heals through touch - the kind that will not only address the problems, but can identify and address other areas that were overcompensating. He is a generous spirit that makes you comfortable immediately and inspires confidence that it will get better - and indeed, after one visit, I am on the path to fixing my pain.
