Matheson, San Antonio TX

Really nice and informative staff everytime I go in there; which is about 3 times a month. Always have a fast paced team so lines are never a problem. They're also the cheapest which means airgas can suck it.

Called around to find a welding supply company to exchange a 75 cubic foot Acetylene Bottle, and Matheson was the best deal! They were nearly $20 cheaper than their competitors. On top of that they are very customer friendly on the phone and in their store.

The only thing I wish they did better would be to have their store prices marked for the welding supplies that are in the store. Overall I would recommend them for any welding supplies.

The truck drivers of this place have no regard for the motorists who traverse the side street that adjoins it. Usually they double park and it's a tight squeeze to get by them. The other day there was one truck unloading on the west side and another on the east side. The only vehicle that could get through was a motorcycle. Despite the backed-up semis blowing their air horns in an attempt to get the inconsiderate churls to move one of the trucks, the congestion remained. Maybe a few negative reviews will get the proprietor to issue a stern warning to his vendors to keep the Splashtown sideroad clear.

Very helpful, but you might call before heading over. They didn't have a refill today so have to make a 2nd trip.
