When our son told us that he wouldn't come home for Christmas unless we bought a new mattress for the guest bed we didn't panic we just went to see CYNTHEA SCHIERMAN at Mathis. We told her of our problem and how our 30 year old guest mattress might need replacing. She was fantastic and solved our problem. We have been in need of a new bed for several years. We weren’t sure what we really wanted but had heard about the Purple Mattress being good for joint pain. Cynthia was gracious, kind, thoughtful, and listened to both mine and my husband’s concerns for finding the right thing. We found that the firm Purple mattress and tall king purple pillows were what we wanted to try. Cynthia helped us find a base that helped support the pressure point, and it feels like we are laying on a cloud. We got the purple bamboo sheets and so far have been enjoying this decision. At first the sheets seemed heavy and I was concerned that it would restrict movement and would be hot, but they are not hot and do not seem to restrict movement. The bases zero gravity position is very helpful with back pain and is like laying in a hammock. We still have several nights to really get a good feel of if this was the best choice but over all this has been a good experience.

Who knew buying a mattress was so complicated! Jeannie made the process so much easier and friendly. She showed us just the right options to meet our needs but didn’t pressure us at all. After shopping around many locations we were most pleased with Mathis. Jeannie was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We found the perfect bed. JEANNIE is AMAZING! We walked in to buy a mattress and she made the process painless! She gave just the right amount of info which was very helpful and she was not pushy at all! She is very knowledgeable about all products and is such a pleasant and talented salesperson. She set us up as a member and let us know we could use our membership to earn points, so we called her a few days later to purchase bedroom furniture and another mattress for our son.
