Very supportive of my daughter and worked patiently with her to achieve her enrichment goals!

In the begining I was concerned with getting my daughter up to speed in her math. Just last week she went from 21% to 46% and doing long division. To me thats a great accomplishment. Keep up the good work

As a parent of a child who was previously attending sessions at this location, steer clear!

Management was eager to sell me on the 1-on-1 sessions, consistency of having 1 tutor to maintain knowledge of what was being instructed. Not to mention that there would be communication with our child's teacher so that everyone is on the same page of what is being worked on. NONE of this occurred!
My daughter would have multiple tutors on the 2-days a week she attended, her teacher was never consulted of what she should be working on during sessions to maintain consistency (later found out that a permission form needed to be completed). Then abruptly (late-September), they didn't have any tutors for the time that we signed our daughter up for. The whole reason we enrolled her here was that they would be able to accommodate our schedules. When I asked that we were paying for 2 days and she would only be coming 1 day a week, I was met that I needed to come in for a consultation. Not even sure I needed to be consulted on them failing to have adequate tutors on hand for children. Payments were not prorated and there was nothing they could do. So we moved her to 1 day a week on Saturdays until they figured things out. A few days, no update on additional tutors and in reaching out to the previous manager about her new schedule, he was not available. I was told to still drop her off.
On October 8th, families received a text indicating that due to their staffing issues that they adjusted their times from Mon-Thurs later in the evenings (who can do that with young children).
A week later, previous manager showed up late while kids were waiting outside the door to get inside.
Five days later, October 20th, I sent an email asking about additional tutors available as our daughter started to fall behind in school. Two days later I find out that there is a new manager in place (no communication to parents) and that there are still no available tutors for the days we signed up and PAID for!

Kelsey Johnson, new manager, never picked up the phone to discuss changes with us, instead, all correspondence was conducted via email. During this process, we continued to try to find a means to work things out with Mathnasium, but it continued to be fruitless. Under this new manager, the arrangement for our daughter to have an 90min session was not honored and the excuse I was provided is that she forgot. However, I have email correspondence that she confirmed that time for her session.
It's because of these consistencies, lack of transparency and the inability to understand that they are providing a service for families that we sign them up for, they want to hold those families accountable for the mistakes of the company.

I highly recommend Gideon or a private tutor for your child rather than funneling a monthly payment into an establishment that won't take accountability for their actions and pass their shortfalls off to families.

DON'T DO IT!
