Mattito's, Dallas TX

Great yuppie Tex-Mex. Standard Tex-Mex food brought up a notch or two. Friendly service. Founded by two white guys from Amarillo so nothing too authentic to worry you and even serves Chicken Fried Steak for the non-Mexican food eater. Very enjoyable, HUGE servings, fair prices. Hard to beat.

Love this place I come here for the rumbas they are my favorite margaritas in town. My server Bonnie was very attentive to our needs and very polite this is one of my favorite Tex mex places to eat will definitely be coming back.

Normally coming here has been a great experience, but tonight has been the absolute worst! I got here and asked for fresh salsa and warm chips that I never received. Then after ordering my food that I requested to my to my liking it came wrong. The replaced order was cold other than the rice and beans, I'm assuming they just took off what was asked not to be on there! Then the last time replacement came cold rice and not enjoyable at all!

I celebrated my 60th birthday at Mattitos, Forest Lane, and had a blast! There were probably 28 of us total and my waitress was Mari, and she was the best to wait on a party of that size, continuously smiling, pleasant, and a great personality! I've eaten at Mattitos since they're opening at the original location off of Lemmon. I gave them 5 stars without question! From the manager to the entire staff thanks for making my 60th birthday the best. I'm there once a week so I'll see you soon!

Food is always good. But the overall experience can be weird at this particular location. Not sure why. But seating and service always seems a bit crazy. Drive down to Oak Lawn for a much better experience!

Great atmosphere, staff is friendly and helpful, food was served hot and quickly and was delicious. Try this place you will not be disappointed and ask for Juan he is a great waiter and very friendly and helpful with the menu.

Juan was very attentive and made great suggestions! I asked for extra cheese and tomatoes and had no fuss. First time and I will be back!

We had a surprise party for my mom at Mattito's and it could not have gone better. It was scheduled to be outside on the patio but being Texas, the weather went from nice and warm to crappy and cold. They moved it all inside without a problem. Bonnie was our server and she was absolutely fantastic! Tammy, the manager, was also so helpful with all of our crazy requests. The food was delicious and service was excellent. We would definitely have another event there.

Went here for lunch with some co-workers. The parking is a bit rough with the lines that are a bit faded.
However the food is delicious. I'm really pleased with the service

The steak fajitas are absolutely fantastic! And the queso is super yummy! By far the best place I've ate at in a long time! And the service is wonderful!
