Dr. Mauro Ortiz is the most competent, compassionate, and experienced cardiologist in San Antonio. He has turned my life around at a very dark time. Best decision I’ve ever made. He gave me hope of a longer healthier life. I had to make a choice to put my life in someone’s hands. I’m so grateful that I chose him. Highly recommended.

Dr. Ortiz is such a good doctor. I love his staff and PA Frances but the way that he thinks about how your health is and what he can do is comforting to know he cares about the patient. I dread when he retires won’t find anyone as caring and knowledgeable as him.

Simply put, Dr Ortiz is one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and professional cardiologists i have ever encountered! He is passionate about what he does and listens and answers all your concerns. I was fortunate to have him as my attending cardiologist after my open heart surgery and after meeting him decided I need to switch cardiologists to him. Glad I did.

I take my father to see Dr. Ortiz. The office and staff are very welcoming. Dr. Ortiz is one of many doctors that I can recommend. He's very thorough, concerned and such a good listener when it comes to the patient's health. His explanations are so clear and well understood. His bedside manners are great. Best Cardiologist! If you’re looking for some one who is kind, caring then this is the doctor for you. If you’re looking for someone who is thorough, takes his time to listen to his patients this is the doctor for you. His staff efficient, caring and pleasant. He’s taken care of everyone I love.
