Maxey Park reviews
11Maxey's is great. My mini healer loves it there. It's divided into 2 separate fenced areas for big and little dogs. Nice grass, trees, huge rocks, toys, picnic tables, etc. It's always clean. Several times that we've gone no one else was there and my baby had the run of the park. The only downside at all is that the watering bowl for the dogs doesn't work-its always dry.
Great park, simple but nice design right off I-20. Good place to stretch and take a good walk. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer, or large RV.
Great park. Clean, lots of trees and picnic tables and huge playground. Well maintained.
The dog park is great. Two separate dog parks; one for big dogs and one for little dogs. Lots of trees, equipment for dogs to play on. A hill and rocks to climb, and chain link between big dog and little dog sides. Poo bag dispenser available and doggie water fountains.
Love this park. All the different set ups for different ages/abilities is amazing. The one for littler kids is still kinda high but I love this park
We were in the doggy park. Just beautiful. Fresh water grass trees. Toys. Picnic tables. Very clean and nice
It was very nice to lay out on a blanket or whatever and just enjoy stillness and quiet. I member when it was an exotic zoo, not too long ago
Nice clean park but I figured with all the triple digits weather around here they would have a splash pad in all the parks cause this one is not that big and it fills up fast plus I figured they would open before 1pm. There is really nothing else for the kids to do to stay cooled off during the summer
It's a really nice park. It's a nice size, good for kids to play. The cons are that there isn't restrooms, which is a big deal.
Very clean and well maintained park. Dogs loved it. I liked that there was a small dog side and a large dog side
I've only been to the dog park so that is what this review is for. For a city with no grass I am so happy they have this dog park! Up here for work and it's so nice to be able to take my pup to the park to be in a more familiar environment since we're from Houston. Grass, trees, nice tables with shade, fun things for the dogs to play on, water fountains. You name it this place has it! The only thing is that it doesn't have a double gate entry and the gate it does have had the horseshoe latch. The dog I have with me doesn't know how to open it but my German shepherds at home would be opening it as a fun trick. So if you have a smarty pants dog just be aware.
