Johnny and his team at MaxShade are awesome! We needed something in our backyard to provide some shade across our pool and pool deck to give us relief from the Texas summer sun. The MaxShade sail is the perfect thing!

INSTALLATION:
The team does not cut corners when it comes to build and installation. It's engineered to stay exactly where they installed it, and to handle any weather Mother Nature is going to throw at it. Each 6" steel post is buried over 4' deep and secured in over 1,300 lbs of concrete. The MaxShade is not going anywhere. The sail material is top notch, and comes in many colors.

After the posts are installed, the distances are measured and then the sail is custom manufactured to size. The sail is then mounted using steel cabling, that runs inside the edges of the sail, for full super strong support. They let the sail and cabling settle in, and then the team comes out to tighten it for its final mounting tension.

RESULTS:
We could not be more pleased with the results. The shade has noticeably dropped the pool's water temperature, and helps prevent extra evaporation from direct sunlight. Before the MaxShade, the water could get so warm that it felt like getting into a bath, not a pool. After the MaxShade, the water is now cooler and refreshing. Another bonus is the MaxShade provides up to 99% UV protection, so we can hang out in and by the pool and not have to slather on copious amounts of sun screen to stay safe.

The only regret we have is not getting the MaxShade sail installed sooner. If you want to still be able to use and relax in your backyard, regardless of the crazy Texas summer sun, then definitely give Johnny a call, its well worth the money.

Maxshade hit a home run for us doing this project. The area we wanted shade on was a weird shape and needed something different. The shade sail they created for us looks so good and did exactly what was needed. I highly recommend these guys and the sales person I dealt with was Johnny. Great to work with as well as his crew that came to the house.

I don't write many positive reviews because you ask for something and that company should deliver what you asked for at the price discussed. However, I truly cannot say enough good about MAXSHADE, their employees, the quality of the materials, or Johnny, our go-to guy.

I'll start this by explaining what kind of person Johnny is. Almost all of our communication has been via email, every once in a while a text, and have only talked on the phone 2-3 times throughout our 2 1/2 month long process. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional, and kind. During the preliminary discussions, you may know what you want (or what you think you want) and Johnny brings up ideas that you may or may not go with. These ideas aren't too up-sell anything, rather design ideas for your area. Next, I've written him emails at 10: 00 pm not expecting anything at all until the next day, yet, within 15 minutes I'm getting a response. This happened all the time, not just a one-off. There was only one time he didn't get back with me until the next day and that was because he typed the reply but forgot to hit send. Shoot, I've done that!

The quality of the materials is absolutely the best. For this type of a project it doesn't make any sense to skimp on materials just to save a few bucks. Because, in a year or two, when they are getting replaced, you could have used quality materials and watch it live beyond the 10-year warranty. My posts are 6x6's, 1/4 inch steel, buried 48" in hand dug holes (this was around my pool and I'm glad they dug by hand because there was a mystery conduit that was discovered) that were filed with concrete.

I'm typing this on my phone, and I've already forgotten half of what I've said. So, I'm going to close with this - if you want a quality product installed by absolute professionals in every aspect, consider MAXSHADE. I am not sorry for how long this review is and could keep writing about how pleased I am.

There's an old saying (source escapes me right now) - if you don't have time to do it right, what makes you think you'll have time to do it over? Going with MAXSHADE will ease your mind from worrying about that!

It been 4 years since we had our shade sail installed over our rear driveway. It has been amazing. I weathered two ice / snow storms and is still going strong. Only a slight adjustment in tension was needed and Johnny handled that quickly, efficiently and with a smile. I highly recommend MAXSHADE.

Johnny at MaxShade was great to work with on our shade project for the Splash Park in Mineola. I would recommend these people to any one looking for shade sails. Thanks again Johnny.
