Mayes Industrial RV & Boat Storage reviews
4Great location! 15 minutes from Dallas Fort Worth Airport! Rented a spot for my RV, took an Uber to the airport and took my very need vacation in Puerto Rico! The staff were amazing, they run it remotely but they made sure I was taken care of! Property is clean, the on-site grounds keeper as a tremendous help as well! Highly recommend!
I have had my rv here since the beginning of September 2023 and I am very happy with the overall appearance of the property as well as the security of the property from the security cameras to the access gate. There is a caretaker on site 24/7 and he seems very respectful and knowledgeable of the entire property. The owners seem very nice as well as easy to get ahold of if and when you need to reach them. If I needed to store anything else they are my first choice pricing is very reasonable. This a awesome place.
The Facilities are a water hose and hole in the ground, located right in the middle of entry and exit gate. There is a row of trees right near (where my rig) was parked so there are lots of birds that wreck havoc on a clean rig. On the plus side it was a very convenient location for me. If I were in a pinch, the price was right, and I wasn't parked along the tree' d area I would store there again.
Security is very poor. Gate is stuck open more then it's closed, found it open many times on the weekend when few people are present. They have security camera's but I'd request to see a live feed before I trusted them.
And last but not least the new owners raise the rates by at least $50 every 6 months and other than a phone app to open the gate that's normally open anyways I haven't seen any improvements for the higher rates. There are better and more secure places to store your RV.
Update. Moved My RV over the weekend. See in the Carrollton Police report that an RV was stolen sometime in the last week. They don't know when? Where's that Video Surveillance?
