A must visit in Austin! We came on a weekday early afternoon and it was quiet and peaceful with only a few people in the park. The natural habitat in the garden is beautiful and historic, we are surrounded by peacocks, palm trees, water lily in the pond and other plants I don’t know name of. Trails are shaded which are great to hideaway from the heat. A peaceful experience overall and bonus it’s FREE!

Cute little park. Nice as a pitstop on the way to nearby Mt. Bonnell and/or Scenic Drive for great views of the Lake. However, limited parking and this time, we had to maneuver around barriers as we walked around the grounds.

Great nature park. Not to big, great to get one with nature and clear your mind. If you want to walk miles and miles this is not the park. Definitely good for children 5+

Directions for around the grounds not visible anywhere. The peacock are very hard to maneuver a stroller around. Could have used a map shown on a Marque or at least somewhere

Small Place nd limited parking.
Only u can see peacocks up close, which were good. Fish Pond water was very dark nd hence could not see fish clearly.
The hike is just like any other hike nd no place near ponds shore to sit or anything.
Nothing much to say actually.

Before you head to the trails make sure to stop and see the peacocks and several ponds with big colorful koi, two of them are clean and working. The trails are beautiful, one of my favorite so far. Completely shaded, it’s hard to find a place to hike with this weather, I was there around 4pm and had no problems with the heat … just bring some water! I was surprised to see how well conserved the place is, very natural… there are some benches along the way but other than that it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere.

Beautiful location with lots of trails. The area with the peacocks and the Koi fish gets a bit busy but not bad. All the peacocks don't seem to have a lot of feathers to fan. Was a little disappointed to see that.
The trails were well maintained. The main trails were a bit busy but the side trails had hardly any traffic on a weekend morning.

If you are looking for a quiet place to walk around and be a bit away from the noise this is a nice option. Not too big thou, and requires a bit of maintenance on the path to the lake, path is rough and broken (wear something different than high heels) And there were this big birds at the entrance.:) Parking available. And I think you can get a photo shoot there (contact owners). Anyway walked around and did enjoy hope you do also.

Such a beautiful place with great little trails that will get your heart pumping. If you go climb the little mountain they have. It's at the end of the trails if you keep to the left when you go into the trails.

We visited this in the late August. At that time the peacock lost most of their pulock. But still they are adorable and worth visiting

Absolutely loved the place! The trails were mostly shaded, which means a lot in the scorching Texas heat. There are also "you are here" maps along the trail which seem like they'd help if yoi had a specific destination in mind. We just wandered the paths aimlessly and still had a blast. We even crossed a little creek and saw lots of small aquatic life. If you go to the cottage area first: The placards naming the individuals or families taking care of each section of the garden was also a nice touch. The cottage was huge, and given that they allow reservations it would a really nice place to have a party.

Awesome place to take a walk with kids as well, you will see peacock around freely. There are few trails are also there it seems but I am yet to try them.

The park has couple of main trails that leads into smaller ones. Enjoy the views of the lake with plenty of shade.

It’s well maintained with benches and view points.

The park also has a wildlife center for kids enjoy some wildlife. Dog friendly. Parking onsite as well on the street.

Very tranquil. Lovely place for a respite. At the advice of our server at Oak Mont (also lonely), we stopped there awaiting our accommodations. Exhausted after driving for 22hrs from Cleveland, the 2hrs we spent at Laguna Gloria relieved our anxiety, and even rejuvenated.

It's nice and has small trail so you don't need a ton of hiking gear or hiking experience. The entrance is beautiful and you can see the peacocks? Up close. It was just hot outside thr day I went but I loved it.there wasn't a lot of information about natural elements that j saw

Such a quaint serene place. Beautiful plants flowers koi ponds and there are at least 10 peacocks I saw along with a skunk the peacocks seemed to keep the little critter away from us it was cool to watch them herd out away from where we were standing. There is no fee to enter you walk around at your leisure and there is a walking trail. Didn't have time to do that but I'm sure I will on my next visit.
