Mays Family YMCA at Potranco, San Antonio TX

Facility and men's lockeroom is very clean. I swim and the pool is always very clean. The lifegaurads that I see daily, Randall, Daniel and Christian are very professional and very freindly. The front desk personnel, especially Chris, are very knowledgeable, always greet me by my first name and understand customer service.

Best gym I’ve ever been in. It’s always super clean, stuff is super friendly, has tons of classes, equipments has been recently changed so most of it is new, pool is great, couldn’t ask for more

Getting my workout ON! This place does have peak peak hours tho! Once I adjusted my use time.all is good now. Very clean facility, helpful front desk & security staff! Have tried Silver Sneakers (was a bit more of a workout than previous Y classes). Looking forward to this continued journey towards a healthier lifestyle! ️

The Mays Family YMCA meets all my needs for swimming laps, taking my granddaughter for family swim, working out in the wellness area, catching a yoga class, and recently, working with a trainer!

Mays YMCA is fairly new, however it it’s pretty much a mom/pa gym, no steam/sauna, racquetball, tennis and no lateral ellipticals. The YMCA in Thousand Oaks have all the above and more. I which I understood as to why a new YMCA is constructed with little consideration to the community.

Consistent welcoming, friendly, professional staff. Tidy facility! Recently rejoined, to kickstart my wellness journey. This place is like an old friend, familiar, encouraging and a community staple!

We always have great experiences at this YMCA. The staff are great with our kids and the classes are always well run and fun!

The facilities at Potranco are great, the staff and the people working out here are all very friendly and welcoming. Great value, highly recommend checking out this YMCA or any close to you.

Great gym, plenty of cardio equipment. Great variety of weights and strength training machines. Good family environment.

I love this facilty but I don't like the hours of child watch. From 8am to 11: 30am they open again at 4pm to 8pm. I wish it was open from 8am till 12pm and reopen at 2pm till 8pm that's how my other YMCA was. It would reduce the evening traffic for those stay at home parents. They don't have to wait until 4pm when everyone is getting off work.

Really great location, I wish they had something closer to my house over on 1604/90. I love the facilities and they’re always so clean.

My family loves this gym, there is something for everyone. The facilities are clean and well organized. My kids love it and it gives me some personal care time. Thank you YMCA

This YMCA facility is pretty awesome, my only regret is not knowing where it was earlier. They offer a lot of options for all ages, and the youth basketball league here is great for younger kids.
