McAlister's Deli, Abilene TX

Great food but reeeeallly long wait at the drive thru to get your food. And every time we get a salad, they always forget the dressing or the pickles or items specifically requested to be on the order when we placed it online.

Staff rarely wears mask, bathrooms and tables are a mess, and unprofessional service. I’ve rarely had a good meal here, and always questioned why I went back. This place is a clown show.

Window service fluctuates depending on who's working. I've had some great, friendly window service and other times, pretty bad. It just depends. Food quality has been great. Tastes great. Consistent every time. I always get the Mccallister's club with chicken tortilla soup. Excellent. Place is always clean!

Ordered on app 20 mins before showing up because it’s usually quite a wait, to be told they didn’t get it, offered to put the order in but I only get a 30 min lunch break, hence the ordering online.smh

We arrived around 2: 30 and the place was filthy. Most tables were dirty, floors dirty too. I saw 2 different staff members eating in the kitchen. One guy didn’t wash his hands after eating and changing gloves. Just because you put gloves on and your hands are dirty don’t mean your gloves will stay clean!

The cook put his hands through his hair and never washed them afterwards We will never be back at the abilene location on clack

Worst service imaginable for online. Judge ely better. This is the second time i sat at window for 10 minutes before anyone helped me, they got my order almost completely wrong, and the food i got tasted old and stale. Complete waste of money. Tell your staff to do their jobs.

This was not my first time eating here. The food was not nearly as good as it was in the past. The bread was stail as if it had been laying out all day. The tea was not fresh.

Waited at drive through window for 40 minutes only to find out they didn't give me everything I paid for. Won't be back!

We ordered 3 kids meals and one adult meal. They left out a whole entire kids meal! And didn’t give us the correct sides. The grilled cheese was soggy. The adult sandwich didn’t have cheese, which basically makes the sandwich! Absolutely horrible!

I enjoy coming here, floors have always been sticky. Ill visit one more time, before I'll call it quits. I don't like sticky floors.

They ran out of potatoes at 12 on Sunday. You would think they would prepare better for a busy shift.

After receiving food a rather large beetle climbed up my wife's back. After telling a server about it the response given was "yea they come in when the door is open". Bugs aren't part of the health code.

New faces, everyone is always busy and making sure all of our experience was done accurately and they really just made me feel important, you can see the staff and managers talking to people around you, all around it was inviting and a great meal, they even had vegan options that were delicious and scrumptious, very pleased with my experience

Ordered 2 drinks, 2 cookies, cold sandwich & loaded nachos. No lemon for tea, made us wait over 30 minutes and then forgot nacho chips. Don't waste your time or money.

Great menu, fair prices, food is delicious, service is friendly. Military check for Military benefit.

Good was good. Only problem was the side fruit salad. Picture on register looked great for $1.50; but what I got was nothing but honeydew & Canolope.

The BLT sandwiches were good. But I also got a country potatoes soup and it was spoiled and my husband got the dollar salad with his and he said it has a fishy taste. So really wasn't pleased with it and there were only 3 people working I felt bad for the guy running the front. He was having to take orders at front counter and the drive thru window and clean the tables and serve the food.but he kept a smile on his face the whole time and he was very polite and never complained and was very apologetic about the soup.

I tried McAlister's for the first time, today and I wasn't prepared for the food I received. The sweet chipotle chicken was amazing, the tea wasn't bad, and the brownie was great as well
