McAlister's Deli, Cypress TX

I really enjoy this place, but when I order something I want my entire portion. I ordered a bowl of chili togo and as you can see they did NOT give me my entire bowl of chili! No, I didn't take any out. When I took the lid off this is what it looked like. Why would the cook not fill it up? That is crazy! I paid for an entire portion. Not cool!

The one time my wife & I got takeout here before it was quite good but unfortunately that wasn't the case today. I ordered the steak 'n pepper sandwich & the meat was so dry & gristly as to be inedible. If we had been eating in I would have sent it back but we picked up the order & didn't discover the quality until after we got to our friend's house & couldn't return it. Very disappointing.

I've eaten here hundreds of times by now. The staff is super friendly, store is super clean, sweet tea SUPER SWEET. This location is the best one I've been to.

I love McAlister's! The food is always good and they have a wide selection. The service is excellent, too!

I stopped by this McAlister's today around 4: 30 p.m. I am Vegan, and I asked for a veggie baked potato-the employee informed me that there would be a 20-minute wait, despite there only being one other customer in the restaurant. Not wanting to wait, I ordered the veggie chili, which is supposed to be an all-bean chili. When I arrived home, I was not given the veggie chili, but instead the meat chili, which I obviously cannot eat and had to throw away. This is unacceptable, McAlister's management. Do better for your customers.

I went at 1.42 PM. I had to change the meat in the Reubens I ordered because they were already out of it. Then tried to order the soup, and they were out of tortilla chicken soup. It's like too much.

One time I came here as a kid and I ordered three different entrees and they didn't think it was all for me so I sat and ate all three of them. They gave me a giant water so I was very happy with that and my French dip is amazing

McAlister's is definitely head and shoulders above similar casual dining places. Everything is perfectly cleaned and the ambience is most relaxing. The manageress, besides delivering the drinks and food to the table, also came over and asked if the food tasted great and offered to refill the drinks. This way exceeded my expectations. Wish it could open earlier to also serve breakfast.

I come here ONCE A WEEK! Sometimes even twice. The food is always great. There is something for everyone. Desserts are delicious! I love the price of the kids menu! We love eating here because it's a healthier option and cost as much as eating at a gross fastfood restaurant. Another great reason to come here is the staff. I usually come on Thursdays, Kayla is the one who usually takes my order. She is literally the sweetest person ever and has amazing customer service. The young men are also very sweet and attentive. We look forward to coming here. Even my 6 year old days " Yay! McAlister's! "

First time here. The soups were very good we had tortilla soup and broccoli cheddar. I ordered the French dip sandwich it was okay I had better at Jason's deli.this one could of used more meat more flavor.tried out the kids pizza option it was not good at all it tasted like it was microwave great value frozen pizza. Lemonade was good tho. So the soups and lemonade saved the day

Enjoyed a nice southwestern salad for dinner. Changed up the dressing, they have options. Big glass of Ice Tea! Tables were clean. So they take pride in their facility.

My husband and I went to this location because it was near the movie theater wanted to try out. After we ordered our food I notice a kitchen staff worker fumbling in her hair and then tying it in a bun. So I politely asked the shift manager for her to wash her hands. About 40 minutes after eating my food my stomach was shambles. Sadly I don’t think it was a coincidence. I will be follow up with cooperate or doing a additional survey.

This deli location is perfect for grabbing a bite before a movie. We had the New Yorker and French dip. Both were hot, fresh, and tasty. The staff was awesome and nice as well. I'll keep this place on the regular rotation.

This is an amazing restaurant for those who eat clean. They have really good sandwiches, and so many different varieties. The veggie baked potato is awesome. I ask for more of the melted cheese which is so good. I also had the veggie sandwich which was awesome. The mac and cheese was so-so, if it had maybe a pinch of herds or the melted cheese from the baked potato add in would be awesome. My wife had the Caesar salad, and she said it was pretty good. All in all I have been here twice, and I really like it.

Long time customer, usually very happy with their service and food.
However, my BLT was very undercooked. When I called to let them know, they didn’t seem to want to correct the problem today. But would try better next time. Terrible way to handle this problem.

Will not be returning to this establishment.

I would say if you want good customer service and someone that will fix issues, go to Jason’s Deli
They always address issues immediately.

My wife loves their salads and the staff is always super friendly. Food has always been good.

Fast friendly service with good food and clean dining area. Absolutely no complaints from us for this location
