McAllen Children's Clinic

McAllen children's clinic is the BEST! The nurse practitioners Mrs. Luna, Mrs. Garza, Mr. Grimaldo and Dr. Costa are amazing. They are very knowledgeable and care genuinely for all their patients. They always make sure all my concerns are addressed and that no questions go unanswered.

This clinic is great for annual check ups but God forbid your child is VISIBLY sick & their regular flu, strep, covid tests are negative because that’s where the help stops. They send you home with zero explanation or help. The PAs/Nurse Practitioners are terrible. Inhumane & insensitive to worried & scared parents who just want to help their kids. You walk out of there clueless on what to do or what *might* be wrong. Didn’t even last a year with this clinic. The only good experience was during my kids annual exams. Basically, if you have kids & they get sick find another doctor.

My kids have been seeing Dr. Costa since 2013. Such a nice environment & great staff from the front desk to seeing the Dr. Wait time is very minimal. Most definitely recommend.

I just recently switched doctors and have only been by twice but I have nothing but good things to say. Such a clean facility and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Waiting times are amazing, I have never been so happy to find such an excellent doctors office for my daughter.

We love the nurses and the doctors always nice and answers all our questions and doubts. No long waits and is always so clean and my daughter loves the stickers

This doctor is amazing. Really answered all my questions and they do labs right away. They tell you the results within 15 min and the wait time is very little.

As a first time parent I found this clinic and loved it. I brought my newborn baby girl here and have been bringing her ever since. Dr. Costa and NP Grimaldo have been great they explain everything very well when answering all my questions. Also the staff is great they’re always soo friendly and welcoming. Feel very comfortable with bringing my baby here! You do need to make an appointment but you can just call that same day and they will give you a same day appt. There really isn’t any wait time the maximum I’ve waited in lobby has been about 10minutes. This is such a wonderful place especially with how I see them treat my baby with such care and love.

Been going to Dr Costa since my first born in 2015 and we are very happy and satisfied with their treatment and service each time. Low wait times and the clinic is always very clean! Highly recommended

I love this pediatric. You don’t have to wait 3 hours to be seen, the pediatricians are amazing and they check every concern you have. I completely recommend them!

Absolutely love this clinic. From the doctor, to the PA, NP, the nurses, the staff everyone! My daughters especially my 2 yr old can be a whole handful and she hates the doctor visits BUT the whole office is nice, courteous and super patient with my girls. Highly recommend and they are very thorough I switched from a place who always only gave my daughter histex and here they weed out everything and give her medicine she quickly gets better with love them!
