McClain Trailers reviews
13 Great Trailers, Great Service! I worked with Greg with a new trailer for a somewhat unknown imported boat, they built it based on drawings, then once the boat arrived, they did a fantastic job adjusting it to properly fit. Greg was communicative, accommodating and helpful throughout the process. The trailer itself is excellent quality, tows great. Before McClain, I was considering going to Florida to find some cheaper used options, but I'm glad I didn't - the included adjustment service is worth its weight in gold and the quality of the trailers is much better than the alternatives I was looking at before.
Highly recommended, they went above and beyond, and I can't speak highly enough to both the trailers and service.
This place is not legit! I used to work here and they are a favoritism group that looks to screw people over. I know everyone and how they screw everyone over. The salesman there just tell you what you want to hear.especially the manager he is the worst…
I bought a trailer for my Tahoe 19.5 ft boat. Miguel was very helpful in getting the correct trailer. The bonus for me was that I was able to bring in the trailer after I got the boat on it for them to make adjustments. I thought I could do it, but they got it right. They didn't charge me for the adjustments even though some time had passed since I bought the trailer. I'm very happy with the people and the trailer. Fully recommend. My trailer was $7000.
Worst trailers ever. I have a 2015 27 ft trailer that has failed twice on the aluminum i beams and had to have repaired. Mclain salesman acknowledged it was a bad design with the supports attached to the i beams causing breakage. The fenders were the absolute worst thing i have seen done yet. They cut vertical slots in the mounts for the fender sides so that when a screw backs off a bit the whole thing just falls off. Now i have bunker supports just breaking off. Absolute worst pos i have ever seen. Save your kiney and go with Magnum trailers
Great Staff they made sure I had all of the correct parts that I needed. They pretty much have everything needed for trailer repair in the store.
The selection is excellent for boat trailer parks second to none in Houston. Prices are fair and the service is excellent.
Went to McClains to get axle for my boat. McClain had it built the next day. Great turnaround. Always have everything I need.
Very helpful employees. Went with my husband who had a trailer part that needed fixed. They were very knowledgeable and the prices were fair.
Needed a bunch of work done to my boat trailer. They guys there went completely thru it from front to back and made it like new. Set the weight balance up for my boat and on the 3 hour drive home, it was a dream to pull and handle bumps in the road so smooth. They went above and beyond. Thank you guys at McClain. I feel confident and safe now taking my boat on the 4 hour drives down to the coast.
Pricey, but great selection of trailer parts and accessories. Knowledgeable staff. Extremely well made trailers.
Zane was professional and helpful. He had my trailer ready in time and made sure everything was taken care of. He also had other guys fix Minor issues he noticed. Thanks Zane!
They were really nice. Everything here is expensive but thats what you get when you buy quality. There's the part of me that wanted it cheaper but I didnt want to have to do it again. So after my wallet felt lighter, these guys got me all the parts I needed to replace alot of stuff on my boat trailer. All hardware is stainless and im sure I did the right thing instead of buying Chinese made junk. On my photos it looks like theses slime on it. I added a corrosion resistant fluid on it.
Always have the boat trailer parts we need.
The guys working the parts counter are top notch.
