Stay away.

Talked to owner McCoy. Set up a date /time to diagnose an audio issue, that should only take an hour, on an off day with little work.

Show up at the appointment time and another guy "Skippy" tells me that this is just the drop off time and it would take several hours for the tech to even look at it.

When pressed that the owner did not say this when I made the appointment and I was told it would only be an hour, Skippy said that's how they've always done it for years. Claimed that was it and walked out of the shop with no further discussion.

There's clearly a miscommunication between their employees and a clear lack of respect for customer's time. If they fail this hard on something small, How can you trust them on something bigger?

Take your business elsewhere to someone that will be upfront and honest.

Edit: After reading the comments, seems things are great if Jeff is there and awful when he's not.

I’m beyond grateful for what Jeff and his team did for me. Hector installed my sub, amp, and box. I’m very picky about who I let work on my vehicle and do a lot of research when doing so. Jeff knows more than enough to put you at ease. Talk to him for five minutes and he will prove to you he knows everything about sound systems. He has over 20+ years of experience in this industry. Hector is an expert when it comes to installing and setting up the system for the highest quality output. I only have a 10” sub and everyone that rides with me ask if I have a 12”. Go with McCoy it’s the cleanest install I’ve seen to date and I’m 31 so I’ve seen a ton of systems. Bottom line you get what you pay for and these guys are very reasonable as far as pricing for the incredible work they do.

Stop by to see if they could figure out why my sub wasn't working. They were able to find the problem quickly and fix my set up better than before. Also with out charging me a ridiculous amount. I would definitely recommend them to anyone having issues with there stereo. Thank you so much!

Jeff is honest and fair. Cut me a great deal and had my truck sounding excellent. Couldn’t believe the quality of sound for the price he gave me. Whole crew is excellent and the kind of guys you want to give your money to.

I had a Sony head unit and four Kicker speakers I needed to have installed in my truck. I took them to Jeff and Brian at McCoy Customs, and they did a great job. Post-installation, I discovered there was an issue with the illumination wire - the new head unit's display wouldn't dim automatically when I turned my truck's headlights on. I called Jeff, and he told me I could bring it in the next day. I did, and Brian got everything sorted 100%.

I mention the minor issue because they could easily have made up some random excuse, told me that it was working the way it should, or some other nonsense (like some other install shops might) ; however, Jeff and Brian approached it as though they might have missed something, took a look at it, and knocked it out. I'm highly satisfied and would go back to them again.

Thanks to Jeff and his team for installing my Tesla monitor in my Dodge Ram 1500. Jeff educated me on the right product to buy and did some custom modifications to make sure the new unit looks great! I will also be returning to get my truck detailed by Jeff, his customer service is on another level.
