McCoy's Building Supply reviews
13I went with my wife to check a material and I walked 100 times around the store and everyone looked at me but no one took the time to ask if something was needed or even Good morning I was very disappointed
They had every part I needed for my gate project. Back for metal building sheets that no one else has in stock!
People were nice. We inquired about a door installation, we waited the 2 to 3 business days, then when we called on the 4th day nobody knew anything, and we were promised a call back in 15 to 20 min. So after 2 hours later I called back and waited 10 min.on hold. So I just hung up, and going with Lowe's.
The folks were nice but the quote I got on the phone was very different than when I went to pick up materials to replace my fence. They pulled and loaded the materials. The materials were less expensive than Lowe's and Home Depot.
I have always shown my Texas drivers license for a veteran discount. Today they would not accept it and told me I needed a different form of ID. Lowe's and Home Depot don't pull that stuff, I'll stick with them.
Love this place. They have everything you need for all your building and remodeling needs.
Quality products at a huge savings compared to the big box stores.
MCCOY'S is a very well run family business and have plenty of staff that knows all the products they sale.
If you are involved with any projects, you have to go to McCoys.
BTW, they load up for you and deliver materials on request.
No more loading your items 3 times like in the big box stores. Shop mccoys they are Texas born and still family owned.keep ur money local.
They always seem to have what I'm looking for at a reasonable price and never had a problem with the staff they're very friendly
Stopped in today looking for some hardware for a project the Wife asked for. There was a “Classic” fella stocking the isle I was looking in and he walked me over to exactly where I DIDN’T look. Said he’d only been working there for a little while and he was very helpful, kind and has a fine sense of humor. It was my first stop at this store but I will certainly come back because of the experience. If we had exchanged names I could tell you who he is. About 6’-0’, maybe 62, glasses, and friendly as all get out.
Have a McCoy's store very close to my home. They have very basic materials and products. Not a vast selection, if you need specific items probably not available.
I needed a simple 1/2" copper cap to solder on a copper water line.didn't have it?
Found the hinges that I needed no other store had them the sales lady was super informative said my hinges look familiar took me right to him out the door
Everyone in the store are very friendly and helpful, but Laura is the best she is knowledgeable and with a lot of patience with customers.thank you Laura
This is really why i was in the area. Thanksgiving day.was also the in-laws 60th anniversaries
Nice staff. The store is very easy to navigate. Has products lowes and home depot dont have.
