You will always get help from someone who works there unless you don't want it. Drive in lumber yard where they will help you load up your material.

Why haven't I been going here all this time? Greeted and ask if I need help with anything as soon as I entered. Very helpful workers here. No long lines. The pricing on building equipment is quite comparable to the other large hardware stores. And real help loading my material.

Cashier, victoria, of the san marcos, tx branch over charged me by $21 dollars.she was having problems trying to figure out how much an item cost. She charged me for six can of Raid when I only bought 1 can of Raid. There were six pieces of wood at. 99 cents that she couldn't figure out what their prices were because the scanner couldn't find the price for the items. I knew I should have check my receipt before leaving the store, but I was in a hurry and though I told where I gotten the six piece of wood; I don't think she ever found the price those six pieces of wood because they don't show up on my receipt. Now I have to go back to that store and try to get my monies owed to me. From now on I'll just stick to Lowe's.

I went in to buy an interior door. Without having to walk around aimlessly, a couple of team members, Lydia and Mark, asked if they could help.
Mark has top notch industry knowledge and offered a great explanation on how to fix said door.
Unfortunately, the original door I bought was not the right fit.
NOT TO WORRY! I brought the door back to McCoy’s and the team here (Nathan, Victoria, Austin, Jason, and Victoria) were all more than willing to help get me a door with the proper measurements.
McCoy’s San Marcos will hands down be the place I go to for all of my home improvement needs!

Looking for hard to find sideing, everyone I talked to at multiple locations physically went out to the yard to check inventory then looked at other stores inventory until we tracked it down.life savers

The customer service here is absolutely amazing! They worked with me to cut a 12 foot, 24 inch diameter concrete form tube into two 6 foot halves. I was only able to fit 1 of the halves in my car. I drove home then came back the next day and picked up the other half. Cameron helped me cut the tube in half and did a great job. They set aside the other half and I had no problem coming back to pick up the other half.

They always have sales personnel to help find what you are looking for. Very helpful and experienced.

A good indication of McCoy's quality products. Ice/water around all double-pane windows in house that was built less than year ago.

I've used McCoys hundreds of times in the past on several projects in other cities. This one by far is the worst. I went in several times trying to get lumber pricing for a new construction home, went back to get pricing on doors, went back again for plywood pricing for concrete forms, NOTHING! Been 3 months not a single call or email. I guess my money isn't green enough for these folks. Never again, If you're a builder, try somewhere else.

Well organized store. Employees cordial and experienced in customer care. Seems like management chooses excellent employees and encourages them to excel in customer service. Thank you McCoy's.

I bought a PEC service pole and scheduled it for delivery. 1 hour before delivery the pole was found to be damaged. Randy and his team went out of their way to insure I still received a pole while I had the crew on site to install. It is refreshing to get excellent customer service these days.

McCoys customer care at this San Marcos location is beyond excellent. Randy has managed the business with total professionalism and steadfast attention to detail. He even ensures I get my US Veteran (military) discount with every purchase I make. The most impressive thing about his store is the staff he oversees. He manages people that are cordial and helpful. I’ve had to give him feedback a few times about people that are needing some coaching and he immediately addresses the issue with total class.
I enjoy shopping at McCoys because they are ‘Old School’ friendly and have what I need or will get it for me.

The assistant manager named Ryan went above and beyond to help us solve all of our needs and wants. He was calm even when it was very busy and even though he was being summoned/paged everywhere he still prioritized our questions and helped us determine what we should buy with his product knowledge.
