McDonald's, Cypress TX

Terrible McDonald's, not sure what it is, either laziness or incompetence but this fast food establishment and many others are pretty much worthless these days. Foods cold, fountain drinks are flat and nasty, long wait times for what is supposed to be "fast" food and worst of all completely rude employees. Never going back to that cesspool.

I was scheduled for an interview at 3pm and upon arrival I was greeted very rudely. On top of the fact I was told to wait after a quick scowl from the manager Melissa. Which I did. I waited for 40 minutes. Until I decided to go back to the front and I heard a small gasp come from her then she asked if I was going to purchase something? As if I was a customer. (Which the place WAS NOT AT ALL BUSY) At that time I said Im not here to order, I'm here for my 3pm interview and she act like she couldn't answer. So I asked if I should come back tomorrow, at that point she shrugged and told me to come back tomorrow. Which I will not. The restroom was disquieting and not well kept. The floor was wet and the tables needed to be cleaned where new customers were eating on due to prior customers.

This has to be one of the slooowest McDonald's drive-thru locations I've visited. Tonight I pulled up behind maybe 8, for sure no more than 10, other cars and ended up waiting AN HOUR to receive my order.
Not much of a difference from the several previous times I've picked up orders here. Go figure.

Not busy, four cars were in the drive thru.ordered ahead a small uncomplicated order. Parked in spot three, and waited for 12 minutes. Finally, after 17 minutes went inside to get my order. Unacceptable.

I give the space at 3 star because it's a McDonald's and the food is always same as other places. The service has been a bit better recently but still needs a lot of work. They forgot one of my items that I had ordered. The manager said for us to pull to the side and that it would be brought out to us so we waited other cars came and went in our food was still missing. After like 15 minutes my husband went inside to see what was going on and the manager said "Oh I'm sorry! I completely forgot about your order".

Worst McDonalds I have ever been to. This is literally the 4th time I have gone and they are not taking orders due to "maintanence. " They turned away 8 cars! Don't waste your time. There are plenty of other places willing to let you spend your money.

I said thank you buddy to the drive thru and he was very rude telling me he isn’t my buddy and not to say that ever again. Very rude has a chip on his shoulder and slow service. Will never be back to this location

After seeing the men's restroom, I decided not to eat here. Its disgusting.

Feces stains in the wall and handicap metal bar.

Tissue with feces floating in the toilet.

Second time in two different days and its still disgusting!

Drink and water on the lobby area floor.

This is an health hazard bacteria born laboratory.

Please don't eat here.

They refuse to take orders unless it’s on the kiosk. Several older adults were having a really hard time and a rude girl kept yelling at them to use the kiosk and was of zero help. They will never take your order unless you use the kiosk. A few two or three nice people but the majority Including the lady general manager are always rude. Go the Burger King down the road.

Went by deive thru, the girl told me to park at front, then someone else came out to ask why I was waiting and for what order, told me to move to the other side, waited for over 10mts and my order was missing items. I call 4 times when I got home, no one answered. My kids weren't happy neither were we. Bad experience.

Didn't want to wait in long drive through lane. Went inside. Wanted to pay cash. Waited a long time. Finally drive through was slow so Went through. When I got home (not that far). Fries and sandwich were cold. Sandwich was was put together by a 2year old half of the Sandwich was on part of bun when the other wasn't even on the bun. I don't think I will recommend this McDonald's and I won't be going back.

They are so rude very mean. They only have 1 person yet 2 lanes open should have only one open and ignored me when i was trying to order kept ordering the other lane. This place needs better people and more experienced people.

The food varies from Meh to really good. You really should ask them to cook your food fresh.
The store is a 2.5. They can't seem to get good management or competent staff. This location has had issues for the last 15 years. They've only had two managers in all that time that were fabulous. When those two were there it ran like a well-oiled machine. That was 5 yrs ago.
I can't properly say what's going on NOW because of the perpetual ongoing b.s. Of 2020, so I don't know NOW if it's just short staffing or if nobody seems to know how to manage anymore. It's like no one really hears you and what you're saying oh, it's like they have massive concentration problems.
You have to check your order before you leave EVERY time. You have a GREAT chance of getting sweet tea when you request unsweet.

Everything has to be checked.and now with the app there's a lot of confusing things for the staff.
So you have to MAKE SURE AND CHECK when you're using your deals and points.
Just so you know you can you use a buy whatever and get something free deal and also use your points to get a free sandwich ect AT THE SAME TIME. Sadly only the manager knows how to do this. When I came to the pay window the lady was telling me that I couldn't use it. So I said no I didn't want the extra sandwich because I wasn't going to pay for something that was supposed to be free and the other item was supposed to be a $1. I left the drive-thru window and had 2 sandwiches. So I went back saying I don't want to take what is not mine and the manager said I was the one that took your order so I know how to ring out the daily deal & your points together. The cashier didn't understand how to do that. It is always something.

I went in last week and this so called MANAGER named CLAUDIA is so rude and disrespectful towards her employee's! She told a young man by the name of ANDRES to go home simply because she could not handle ONLY bagging orders and handing them to the person at the window. Meanwhile the young man was taking orders, giving orders and also helping a senior lady with her order ALL AT THE SAME TIME! CLAUDIA YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE! YOU CAN NOT HANDLE BEING A MANAGER AND IT SHOWS!

It's McDonald's most of the employees I assume really would rather be somewhere else so pretty average I don't expect to have ketchup in your bag already you definitely need to ask for it Service is generally quick and I've had nothing too crazy going on with my food since I've moved into the area again

If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff was rude and they gave me a very old sausage biscuit that was cold. The biscuit was soo hard I could play hockey with it. I am very disappointed because I have been taking meds and needed to eat something but could not. Will not go back!

If I could give 0 stars, that's what they'd get. Merry Christmas 2021. We waited forever inside the store because the drive thru was very busy. Once we paid at the kiosk, we received no receipt. The money was taken from our bank. We waited for over half an hour to get served. We didn't get served, we lost our money, and we lost the time having to wait. BUT WAIT. This isn't our first event concerning this store. Last week, we were shorted our chicken nuggets from our meal we purchased from the drive thru. My mistake for not checking the contents of the bag before returning home. Once home, I unloaded the bag to discover the shortage, and had to return so my son could eat. My fries and quarter pounder was cold by the time I got to eat it. BUT WAIT. This store is notorious for shorting us of French Fries, too many times to list. They don't give ketchup or napkins either. Make sure the lids are secure on the cups before driving away. Can't tell you how many times drinks have spilled. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS STORE. THERE ARE MANY OTHER STORES AROUND TO GET YOUR FIX OF MCDONALDS. Sorry to leave a bad review, which I usually don't, but they don't deserve to be in business the way they treat folks.

The only good thing was the Coke.
The burgers were old, the cheese was cold, and the buns looked like someone literally stepped on them. My dogs wouldn't even eat it. We all got sick from the couple of bites we took before throwing it in the trash.
What a waste!
