McDonald's, Hondo TX

We asked for a large water and was charged $1 at McDonald’s in Hondo and received a small cup. Is that right?

Excellent dine in service! I had the worst dine experience at McDonald's in Castroville after ordering 2 Big Mac combos waited over 22 minutes & the only dine in customer ordered to take home noticed they were servicing drive thru even cars that ordered after I had placed my order! I was going to have to 35 min before my order woukd get processed it made me mad because Cashier & store mgr said, "We are short staff what can I say! " Yet 3 employees running drive thru one front end cashier, 2 cooks & 2 managers (store mgr is son of asst mgr conflict of interest big time)! Hondo had more dine business & drive thru customers less employees & made sure I had my order in 5 minutes! They rock Everyone in Castroville store needs to train in Hondo! Hondo store should be selected to give a training video on customer service skills!

Since they close the lobby at 4pm, drive through lines were ridiculously long as was the wait. By the time we got our food, it was cold, and our order was not correct.

The app is the best I keep collecting my points. And the digital coupons are the best. You save money! I remember when the cheese burgers were $. 99 So I always use coupons and orders ahead to save time with my kids in the car.

Great fast food always take my little nephew and little nephew love those french fries number 1 and great food breakfast and lunch and dinner

This is the third time in a row we have left McDonald's and half of our food was not in the bag. They act like they don't care because it's drive thru only and the lines are long. Like what are you going to do go back around and wait in that long line again

The food was ok. Ordered extra cheese but got extra bacon which was Kind of a Win. Lol. Price was Crazy tho. Almost $20 for 2 Sausage M griddles meals 1 with extra cheese and 2 extra hash browns. It Was good tho

The only restaurant in town that doesn't have lobby open for sit down eating.
The outside needs a good wash, at least hire someone to come powerwash the parking area.

Some days they make my coffee great, but others it's terrible. Should be making Lates the same way every time!

Food is good and usually fresh but for some reason if you ask for light mayo or any other condiment. I guess whoever makes it thinks it's funny to add even more

The food is decent and the employees are always friendly but they close whenever they feel like it. They don't abide by their posted hours of operation. The waiting line is always horrendously long and if you try to use the app to order ahead of time it still makes you sit and wait in the parking lot so you can never just get your food and go. They charge me a different price every time I go there even when I order the exact same thing each time.
Very disappointing

We just stopped for the ice cream and their machine was working so this is a 5 star McDonald's.

Breakfast is good. Got some food to go. My order took a little longer then usual. But that doesn't bother me too much.

Was going to order for mobile pickup outside but kept getting error that breakfast wasn't available at the time around 620am. So instead went to drive thru and repeat order and the person who took it got everything spot on.

I got a meal for the first time in over a month from here, Big Mac sandwich, and both the middle Bun and bottom Bun were soaked. Almost like they had been sitting in water for a couple minutes. Those layers were also cold, so it's not like it was jucies from the meat patties. It was inedible. I'll stick to chicken nuggets from now on.

Coffee was horrible, I couldn't even drink it. Sausage biscuit was hot but hard. We come here about every 3 to 4 months to see if they change, they haven't. Food still sucks. I give it one star for the employees being nice.

As far as fast food goes this is one of my least favorite places to go. Ok for a quick breakfast but other meals are lacking.

Still haven't open dine in and order through drive through 12 breakfast sandwiches asked for all jam got 4 and 2. Laziest one ive seen in a while. Wouldn't ever buy anything from Hondo 1 if it wasnt for my family

Good food, family oriented, friendly service.what more can you ask for during these trying times.

Great service. Traveling from out of town, yet customer service was great. Meals were prepared as ordered.
