Beautiful and peaceful even in Extreme Heat!

We parked in the parking lot next to the entrance to get to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It was quite a walk in extreme heat but this garden made it a little more bearable along the way! There is a pavilion with chairs where one could sit down and enjoy the view. I imagine early in the morning or late afternoon would be a very nice place to walk.

Bring sunscreen and water in the summer!

This place is so beautiful! Definitely everyone needs to come here at least once. This place is great if you just want to have a walk, great for pictures! Note tho that if you’re specifically coming only for pictures with a professional photographer, ur photographer needs a permit otherwise if it’s just for you and personal use you should be good, continuing though you can also have picnics here, come walk your dog on leash ofc, or just have a seat and take everything in on their chairs and tables they have in the entrance. The scenery here is amazing the flowers are beautiful and you will get to see cool birds, butterfly’s. Definitely 5 starts.

Very beautiful place to visit. Parking is always very hard to find and they block off several areas of parking and they sit there empty. Was in the area for hours and those spaces remained empty the whole time. The flowers are always beautiful

Beautiful place to read a good book, take a nice stroll, picnic with friends, or simply get some really good photo ops. This place is free and highly worth a visit whether you are new to Houston or lived here your whole life.

A great and beautiful place to visit. Open to the public and free. Visited after going the the Natural science museum right next door so it’s a great stop. They also have free 3 hour parking which is a bonus so you can avoid paying for parking and visit the museum. They have chairs and shaded area near the parking lot entrance which provides a great place to relax and take in the view.

The garden is beautiful when it's full bloom. (Take allergy medicine if you wanna enjoy the view and atmosphere) It's a great place to take pictures for like prom, quinceañeras, engagement, etc.

Always a great place for pictures! So many different spots to create different moods and the grounds keepers do a great job with keeping everything clean and the garden looking healthy

It is a wonderful garden with so many statues and beautiful flowering plants and little walking trails. I’m glad that they are constantly updating and improving the park. The middle part of the park lacks shaded trees so a hard walk during hot days. Definitely check it out.
