McLane Stadium reviews
19One no alcohol so if you’re looking to be able to enjoy a beer, keep scrolling. Two, the confession is awful. The service and the offerings.
The staff here was awesome! Had a friend who tripped & fell. This person is elderly. It would have been game missing situation if the staffing wouldn't have gotten a wheelchair for transportation. A supervisor guided us to the opposite side of the stadium. I have offered a $20 3x. The young man refused each time. He was proud to be helping us. Same issue after the game of course. Had 3 seperate staff members help us locate a wheelchair. Over 5 stares easy! Just nice good wholesome people helping someone enjoy possible might have been this mans last game! Great job and thank you again. Meant thr world to us!
The people were friendly and it was a good atmosphere. My favorite part is they sell the perfect cup for drinks; other places sell a cup that is way too big, Baylor's is just right.
Beautiful stadium and the games are great. Afternoon games depending where you sit it could be a little hot. The atmosphere was fun and entertaining.
I love this stadium. It’s easy to get in and out, it’s got decent food options. Be aware they don’t sell alcohol, do if you like beer with your football you’ll be disappointed. Personally I think it helps eliminate the worst crowd behaviors, so it’s a worthwhile trade-off.
First time sitting in the Berm. What a different and neat experience! The only downside is the incredibly long lines to get food and drinks. Stood in line most of the first half, but those people working in there were working like crazy the entire time!
Watched the Baylor v Oklahoma State game. They have good views from all over the stadium. We had bleacher seats on the lower level but they had backs to them so it was comfortable. The band's Top Gun halftime show was great! Parked in downtown and took the free shuttle.worked out great. The biggest downside was the tailgating.no trees and it was SO hot.
Awesome experience. Hot day and food was great. Walking from campus to cross the Brazos River on Umphrey bridge is a great way to access the staduim.
Love the stadium but can we please get the game presentation on point? PA plays over DJ. DJ plays over band. It's a mess.
Beautiful stadium with friendly staff. Recommend going through the gates early as a lot of people try to get I'm st the last minute.
Beautiful venue with easy access to refreshments. BUT the volume of the announcer and the music was painfully ear piercing.to the point of a rock concert on steriods! Most of the adults around us were wearing ear plugs.
What a gorgeous stadium. I love that the top has an overhang and provides shade which gives it a colosseum type of vibe. The getting in and out was relatively quick with lots of gates - we arrived at about peak time and the staff did a great job moving folks into the stadium. Food courts were plentiful and the lines reasonable even at the busy times. The lines of site are awesome with great views of the action. The student section is awesome and engaged with the game with the freshman providing the team run through and then sitting in the front row. They all bring a lot of energy and competitive advantage to the team. Highly recommend catching a game here.
Very nice views. Concessions lines were really bad. Direct sun in Visitor seating was brutal. Parking was a measure of total luck. No beer or alcohol available whatsoever, like so many other stadiums nowadays, which is a star off for sure. No real desire to come back but not sad I went, therefore I'm going 3 stars.
I really enjoyed watching the homecoming game here. I loved the walk there everything was so beautiful. It was super windy the day I went and that made everything so much better.
I've been on a quest to see my team play at every Big 12 stadium. After sitting next to a Waco local at the big 12 championship game who was three yards of margarita deep before kick off, I was actually very ok with no alcohol. The stadium is beautiful, the hospitality second to none. Got a free shuttle ride from our parking to the stadium, even while wearing orange. Our bleacher seats had backs, there was shade for a good while, the modest size made for great views of the field.
Went for the homecoming game. Pretty good atmosphere. The stadium is relatively clean for the most part. The concessions could use some work. Pretty limited options and, of course, extremely overpriced.
This was my first time at any college football stadium. I came to Baylor for parents weekend, it was an amazing experience. Security and ticket lines move very quickly and efficiently. The stadium was clean and not crowded even with the amount of people there. I was in the 300 section. We could see the entire field. Seems like any seat in the stadium was a good seat. The concession stands were reasonably priced, not what I’m used to paying at a professional game. It was more than a game, it was an entertainment experience. Baylor does a fantastic job. Looking forward to coming down to my next game. Sic em!
Very nice facility. Definitely recommend renting a stadium seat if you are in the plain bleacher section. Definitely with $10.
Even tho they slaughter us, the stadium nice and the ppl were very friendly for TX.
HOWEVER, those lil annoying bugs.not sure it they were crickets or not.but they were EVERYWHERE. Good thing I only had to stand at the urinal.
