How could you make the final decision for a family’s loved one without consulting them first? This funeral home CREMATED my aunt without even letting us know. Terrible and so unprofessional. Do not go here; they will only give you more to grieve.

This place did an amazing job on my Dads funeral! Thank you so much Andrew for having such a kind spirit for the grieving families. Andrew was perfect in helping my family through the planning and walked us through the whole service, being there every step of the way!

They made the process easier than I anticipated. Everyone I spoke with was professional & very empathetic. Now I know why my Uncle included McNutt services in his last wishes.

I am beyond pleased. This is my first experience in planning for a family member, though another family member has used them before. First, McNutt is quite cost effective, I priced others. Second, the whole process was smooth and painless. Lastly, and quite important is the staff; friendly, professional, considerate and knows how to communicate. There were other funeral homes that were more convenient to my location but I am so happy I used McNutt. They have my business when future needs may arise.

McNutt Funeral Home handled my loved one's service with the upmost care and professionalism. They made a tough situation easier. The chapel, the service, and the flowers were beautiful. They sincerely cared about us and our experience, and I will be forever grateful for what they did for our family.

My husband’s “Celebration of Life” was this past Saturday, February 19th. Without a doubt, my family and friends loved the service and empathy displayed by the staff. We worked with Bridgit, Funeral Director, she was very thorough and detailed when explaining pricing and the legal details regarding permits, etc. She was so accommodating to our needs and wishes. Also, Tabitha, who was sound and video for the service was awesome. She possesses a special gift from God at telling your loved ones story. We had a grandson born the day before the service and she was able to add his photo into the video. She also has a beautiful voice. McNutt Funeral Home is a beautiful place to hold a Memorial Service personalized to your needs. Jennifer B.

Andrew and Danny was a blessing to us during a difficult time. They both made sure that my father's funeral was exactly what we requested. Danny and Andrew went above and beyond to answer the number of questions we had. Thank you for everything you do and for making this process for families easier. The pastor who was available during my father's funeral service was so kind hearted and did not rush us to finish up. Tabitha did fantastic job with power point. Overall I definitely recommend this as they will help you every step of the way

Staff did not explain pricing. Made it sound like headstone was included in package. Package to include photos and music of your choice. Could not hear music and photos were on tiny little screen no one could see. Did not explain difference areas require certain type of headstones. Bronze is expensive and I dislike color, not advised bronze area was for bronze headstone only NO GRANTE. They also don't tell you there is a set cost. What's that? Charge to place head stone on dirt! I called to speak with owner and also went to office, she has not returned my call.

The receptionist is lacking when I did not receive a reply after calling four times. Was not able to fulfill my old Navy friend's last wishes since this business allowed a step daughter he has not seen in years take his cremains. What good is a dying man's wishes if they are not honored after Death. This is a pretty shady industry from the start. I'd rather have my rotten carcass thrown in a ditch than be buried at McNutters. I'm being nice.

We had my brother & nephews funeral services held at McNutt funeral home and I can honestly say that we visited many funeral homes around the area and nobody made us feel as cared for as much as the staff at McNutt funeral home did, the whole process was very easy and made use feel like we were part of their family. Thank you to everyone that made this difficult time for our families as easy as possible. Big thank you to Andrea, Jenna and Tabatha, nobody is prepared to loose a family member but the staff at McNutt funeral home was 100% ready to accommodate our requests, I will forever be grateful & thankful.

McNutt Funeral Home, specifically a wonderful young lady by the name of PJ we’re extremely expedient with my relatives (both my father and my uncle) cremation process. Yet they were extremely professional and patient with me as I was dealing with probate cases and the rights of my loved ones. I would suggest McNutt Funeral Home to Anyone in need of final arrangements for someone they care about. The utmost gratitude and respect to McNutt funeral home and all of their employees. Thanks again PJ, you’ve been great!

Our experience with McNutt Funeral Home was exceptional. Jenna helped our family and we could not be more pleased. She left us alone to make choices we thought would be best for our son's funeral. Jenna went over and above to help us get our son home from another state and worked with members of the family with grace and patience. The video and the thank you cards were personalized and was much appreciated for the care that was given to make it all perfect.

They’ve handled several family members and were wonderful. I tell my husband you better use this place when I die.

The most difficult experience we could imagine. They will nickle and dime you for every last thing they can. I'm sure they are trying to charge me for this review. They didn't call when they buried my father like they were supposed to. They wont accept a grave marker we bought because of "their rules". I have to have a specific style. Turns out that specific style is very expensive. They will not work with you at all. Just offer, "sorry, that's how it is. " This is a difficult time for the family and they make is much more of a hassle than it needs.

HORRIBLE. This was the second time I have used McNutt for a loved one. The first one was years ago and everything was handled flawlessly. This experience was a disaster. The person who handled, or rather didn’t handle everything was PJ. The lack of communication between staff members and us was mind blowing. I reached my point of no return when I overheard the receptionist tell my grieving mother in law he hadn’t been cremated yet and maybe you can pick him up tomorrow, maybe Saturday. I had spoken to her five minutes before and she told me the cremation had already taken place. I could not for the life of me get PJ to return any of our phone calls. It took me using colorful language with the receptionist to finally get PJ to call us back. She then proceeded to tell my mother in law on the phone that the receptionist hadn’t told me he had already been cremated. I said hello I’m on the line too please don’t tell me what she didn’t say we both heard her. All I was calling to find out that afternoon was what the status of his cremation was because we were told we were supposed to be picking him up and it was 2 pm and hadn’t heard anything. Joe didn’t want a funeral he wanted a simple cremation so we respected his wishes. Maybe if we spent $10,000 on a funeral we all would have been treated with a little more dignity. Karma catches everyone and all I can hope for is when PJ has to go through the worst moment of her life I hope she’s treated like a no one like we were.

My dad, who was a WWII veteran, passed away in November. He had pre- arranged his funeral so there wasn’t much that we, the family, had to do other than the opening and closing of the grave and the headstone and foot marker. The pre-arrangements had to be transferred from another funeral home and went fairly well even with the substitutions. The funeral director was very helpful. We had a graveside service for family only and that went fairly well too. The problems came in with the head and foot markers. We sat down with McNutt's representative and went over what we wanted, furnished the information they needed, and actually previewed the headstone. We had requested that they let us know in advance when it came in so we could be there when the headstone was set, to make sure everything was ok before they set it. The headstone finally came in and was set. We were not notified until the day after it was set. The line spacing didn’t look the same as the preview and the picture on it was much smaller than what we reviewed and was not cropped as requested. The foot marker was not worded according to the paperwork that we furnished and we were told that they couldn’t do anything about that since it was sent by the VA. We also requested that the foot marker for my dad be put on granite. We were told they would check on possibly a scrap piece of granite for it but never let us know. She called to tell us that they had set it in concrete, without asking permission or to give us the opportunity to possibly purchase granite for it. She was not good about returning our phone calls and seemed to be out of the office more than she was in it. When she did call she was disorganized and couldn’t seem to remember talking to us about any details. I would have given McNutt's a 4 star rating if it had not been for the actions and inactions of the representative.
