M.D. Anderson Library reviews
8 The library is great, but since the university makes parking incredibly inconvenient and expensive for students and visitors it's a colossal waste of infrastructure. Universities should not have this much idle capacity with their assets. Just make it all online then. Save the money and resources for something more productive. What's the point of having a campus, if no one is on the campus except during the school year class hours.
So many universities make their facilities exclusionary instead immersive with their communities. Doesn't this school get public dollars? Idiot administrators.
There is not enough that can be said about this library. This library is a very convenient place to sit and study. I would also like to give the UNI a huge shout out for allowing us as Muslims to perform our daily prayers here. Really doesn't deserve a rating lower than this. Make sure to check out the private cabins they have in the brown wing. Really handy especially om a very cold day.
I can't give the library anything less than a 5 star, the library is well maintained, it can get crowded but still a great place.
It was a place which helped me to fulfill many of my dreams.
Love this place but ummm. Closed on sunday? The hours are trash. And parking is a nightmare on campus.
During this pandemic of COVID_19, I found the University of Houston Library a very quiet and empty place to study at a safe distance. I am able to put in the amount of hours I need per day without interruption, good wifi connection!
Open to UH students only. You must have your cougar card to get in. Printing services still available, but pretty much no electronics available for checkout. They regularly patrol the floors.
The students here arent definitely any help especially on weekends needed help with getting a book nothing at all, horrible customer service
The staff here really need to work on their attitude. I asked “Jay” who was working at the customer service desk about issues I was having with a printer and I have never encountered such rudeness. He started talking to me in a condescending way as if I didn’t know how to print a piece of paper. I wasn’t the only person he was rude to, any person asking for help was an inconvenience to Jay.
