MedExpress Urgent Care, Houston TX

From start to finish, staff was very professional and quick to get my kids seen. Doctor was friendly and quick to give results and answer any questions we had. Will return, if needed.

The front desk receptionist obviously hates her job. I walked in she did not want to great me or even look at me until I said hello. I told her I was having stomach pain and she automatically was trying to send me to another location. She was rude and obviously did not want to service me… I have read a few reviews and it’s complaints about her Alyssa Gonzalez or Melissa what ever. Why continue to keep employees if they have that kind of attitude. Definitely not a good look for the company. This was my fist and last time going here. The place was very clean that’s why I’m giving it 1 star.

Don’t waste your time. Called twice prior to coming up to make sure that I could be seen & arrived to find out that they only do virtual visits.

The ladies were awesome! Cannot say enough. Once i got to the back, it only took about 20 min.at the most. For truck drivers, time is money! Thanks ladies!

I was taken in to be seen within 5 minutes of arriving. Very good in all areas. Kind and efficient in many ways.

Worst place ever. There is a reason it was empty. My husband didn't even get seen. Receptionist Melissa G. Couldnt pull up my husband VA insurance. Kept going back annd forth with him. He already felt horrible and diddnt need the hassle. She needs better training. Wouldnt even calll the insurance. If she cannt find the info instead of arguing with a sick patient, reach out for help to a supervisor

The nurse that does DOT physicals complaining about how the air isn't working so she wasn't doing physicals. Sending everyone to another location while applying lotion on her hands. Oh yeah, the A/C was working. JUST LAZY

Great service from the time I arrived to the time I left. There was no wait, I was in and out. By far the best and cleanest urgent care that I have been to. The staff was very friendly and The Doctor was super nice and understanding, I felt comfortable the whole time. Excellent customer service!

The person at the front desk was not personable, touch of attitude. She needs more customer service training. She snapped at me unacceptable. The PA and other personal who assist me was very nice and very considerate.

Had to leave 1 star in order to leave a review. My mother brought me to this facility yesterday around 5 she went in and asked for a wheelchair and assistance to retrieve me. They asked what was wrong she told them it was either heartburn or I was having a heart attack. They said if it’s a heart attack they can’t see me and refused to even look at me or even to come out to the car to check me. Instead the tell my mother they were calling 911. So when the fire department shows up we explain to them what happened and what I was dealing with at the time. So basically they were thinking this was all in my head because my vitals were all great. Ambulance gets there and Mr. Alvarado tells me he is going to do an ekg to check my heart and guess what I was having a heart attack!

So they rush me to the closest hospital in Pasadena and I under went emergency surgery and had 2 stints placed in my heart. I could have literally died in their parking lot and they didn’t care about me whatsoever and neither did the fire fighters. But EMS listened to me and hit me to the hospital so my life could be saved.

I’m still in the hospital. But I am alive. So think twice before going to this facility if you aren’t sure of what’s going on.

AMAZING CARE! From receptionist, to nurse taking his vitals and dr examining him. AMAZING. I had to take my son in this weekend for a terrible asthma flare up. They were so quick, kind and understanding. The truly helped start making him feel better and helped ease our worries. Truly appreciate their care and will go back when needed. Thank you!

Dr. Patel and his staff were great! They were able to take care of me in less than an hour! The office was clean and the atmosphere was great!

Pleased with the quick check in, super clean facility and excellent service my Husband received. Dr. N. Patel went above and beyond to treat my Husband's minor injury. Glad to know we have an Urgent Care close to home that we can count on.

Don’t. There was a medical staff member in there cleaning and saw us and straight ignored us. East Houston Medical Center - 15149 Wallisville Rd, Houston, TX 77049. A real urgent care location. 10/10

I've used MedExpress Urgent Care a couple of times now and they're always polite friendly and great service!

The receptionist was on her phone with an ear piece hidden under her hair. Having a conversation under her breath while checking me in. I'm giving her all my info while she has someone in her ear, total HIPAA violation. The MA in the back calls you on the phone while you are still in the waiting room to ask about medical history and symptoms.again while you are in the waiting room, then says ok ill go get you shortly. Once in the back she did basic vitals, no weight check they just go off whatever weight you tell them. They did a flu and covid test so I ask about a strep test and she says the provider will let me know if you need it done after she looks at your throat. Well let me tell you the provider came in said "oh your tests are negative so this is just viral". Didn't check my ears, didn't look at my throat, didn't listen to my lungs; matter of fact, didn't even touch me. I genuinely don't understand how they get away with billing my insurance for an urgent care visit if the provider (Hillary Goodwin, NP) didn't even examine me. Simply decided to diagnose me based off of 2 viral tests. Do not recommend and will not be back. Gave 2 stars because the facility was clean and looked well kept.

The service here is amazing! Been coming here for about a year now and every time I’m here I get excellent and fast services from the receptionist to the nurse and definitely the doctors are great. I recommend this place 100%

I took my 10 year son here for a sick visit and when I called before arriving Kyesha at the front desk provided exceptional customer service and Shelma was awesome as well. While waiting on test results the NP Hillary was efficient as well. I would recommend anyone to visit this location on the East Freeway.
