Media Grill + Bar reviews
16 Lovely spot conveniently located at the Hilton Anatole.
Food is great and well portioned. Pretty good scenery right outside as well. Also, they are open pretty late for those with late night munchies.
Went here during my stay with a company. They are incredibly slow and understaffed. Took about 20min for service without 1/4 of the tables filled. They FORCE tipping. They provide an awful expirence and terrible value for 3 times the price. The poor attitudes and staffing makes this an absolute last resort for me. Don't make the same mistake I did walk to the 711 down the street and get better food and service.
Food was good but service was not. Waiter came at the start but couldn't get him at all for a long time. Went to the bar and the bar tender said to wait for the server. He was actually very rude when I was trying to be polite about it all.
The atmosphere appeared to be great with my choice of music playing, perfect lighting and the ability to see the hotel's beauty from your seat. The bartenders were amazing, but the drinks were not very tasteful (in my opinion). There were signs all over advertising some salted honey drink, but it tasted like copper (a shiny penny rather). The fries were good and very filling. My takeaway are the drinks and cleanliness of the glassware.
I had three meals here while staying at the hotel and all were terrific. The absolute best was the hanger steak, but the brisket and the chicken sandwich were great too… well made and full of great flavors. Yes, they are high priced, the only negative IMO. It is prepared after you order, so you will wait, but the wait was worth the good food.
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was nice, the lounge area needed to clean cloth chairs (several were badly stained) and provide waiter staff. We had to go to the bar to order drinks and food. Food was delivered to the table.
Overall not a bad spot. Service was great and fast.meals were a lil expensive, as expected being inside a hotel.had the steakhouse burger, presentation was great, fries were on point.but burger was over charred.the burnt taste overpowered any taste of meat there could have been. I would only come here again if i was staying there, and didnt want to go out.
The service is great but the menu is rather limited and the prices are high! The Grain Bowl was delicious, but the Shishito Peppers were far too greasy.
Terrible service. Horrible staffs and managers. Please avoid this restaurant if you can. They are not professional at all. I ordered a room service, but they charged twice and took forever to be prepared, so I cancelled my order in person. The manager said she will get the invoices of the cancellation but they didn't. I called them literally 100 times but they do not answer the calls. There is no way to get the refund for the foods that I didn't see and eat at all.
Decent bar inside of Hilton Anatole. Ok food and ok drink selection.
But very pricy, you have to be jay z to afford these drinks.
Ordered impossible burger. Incredible presentation and great taste however it’s IMPOSSIBLE to eat. Immediately falls apart and had to eat it with fork and knife. Messy!
This place is mess manager is rude and disrespectful with very very limited social skills, don’t pay top dollar for poor service and food
So much food at a great price! This was our second visit and will continue to be a must-do every future trip to LA. Get there early because you may have a wait! It's well worth it though.
I’m probably not used to the LA life. But we waited in line for over 30 minutes to be seated. When inside the place is cramped with just enough space for the staff to maneuver through the tables.
Lines get crazy on weekends if you don’t arrive early but always worth it. French press coffee always hits the spot!
