4I tested positive for Covid on 1/12/23 for the first time during the pandemic. My exposure? A pre-op nurse at Medical Center Endoscopy who tested positive the day of my colonoscopy on 1/11/23 this week. I called my doctor the day after because I thought I was experiencing a post-op infection (fever, chills). The nurse called back with, “Didn’t someone call you earlier to let you know the pre-op nurse tested positive? ” No, they didn’t. I’m really angry that this nurse and facility put my health and family’s health at risk.
Rudest front person.please take her off there and put her somewhere she doesn't interact with patients and family. A few other issues with this place but tldr, saving you the trouble.
This practice is horrible. They did not conduct any type of prep visit for my colonoscopy. They did not provide me any information as to what I needed to do prior to the procedure and were generally not helpful. The final insult to a when they changed the code on the procedure in order to get more money. The procedure was a preventative and after the procedure was completed, they changed it to diagnostic in spite of the fact that it was a preventative procedure. Stay far away from them as they are shady and seem to only want to make money.
