Medical center hospital saved my sisters life and no waiting understood the urgency of her situation.thank you night staff on 1/1/2024.

I just got out of there after 7 hours and not seen the Dr. I'm in intense pain and horrid feeling. I told my family if something happens to me because of their neglect to sue them. There was a lady constantly vomiting and the dr. Didn't see her. And girl crying in pain and still nothing. What is going on? Are they giving out medical license to anyone now a days? This is unacceptable and a horrible hospital

The np didn't read anything in my chart, even called wrong Dr and gave them my info after me telling them at least 3 times who my Dr is that sent me to the ER. Still called wrong Dr and didn't care. Dr torres in ER is the worst physician you can get. If he comes into your room demand someone else that will actually listen and read the Dr names in your chart! If I could give 0 stars I would. Called Mary who is over all Drs in hospital for risk management and haven't heard back. I'll update if I do.

Would not transfer my husband closer to home. He wanted a second opinion and they did not listen to anything, he didn't want certain medications yet still gave it to him. He was fine when I left on Sunday, Monday night was called that he was dying. This hospital messed up killing his aunt 1 month before he went in for the same thing. The doctor never showed up for meeting. Don't go there unless you want to die. This hospital took my husband. Worst care ever.

My dad came to mch because of a motorcycle accident. After about 12 hours of him being there we had to ask for all of his road rash to be cleaned, as we were still picking grass and gravel off of him and he was sticking to the bed. Dr. Grove should not be a doctor she is horrible. 1st of she is completely rude and did not care about anything except for leaving the room. We tried to bring up something that looked infected without looking at it she’s said it was fine. Later we find out it’s very infected and now on meds for that.

The WORST hospital I have ever been to. The ONLY person who genuinely cared was the nurse on our last day. My husband was air lifted here after a motorcycle accident. I called hours before his arrival and no one could give me information on his estimated arrival and was told “he’s probably not being taken here”. Then 4 hours later calling consistently, they confirmed he had arrived. After he was admitted, the nurses failed to meet the hourly to every two hour (during night shift) vital check up, even though they were concerned about the hole in his lung and made us stay longer. Staff treated us like idiots and we didn’t know anything. They did not stay on top of pain management and my husband was in consistent agony. Here the kicker.while trying to organize and clean the room a little, I found a GALLON sized ziplock bag full of another patients prescription medication in the drawer next to the bed. Do you know how much of a liability this is to a hospital? The lack of respect and carelessness is baffling. I couldn’t even shower my husband because the shower head was so full of calcium that it just dripped out instead of a stream on full blast. Go to a different hospital. This place is not worth your time or money.

Interventional Radiology is the worst. Zero compassion for patients. My dad’s specialist discontinued sending patients to IR here for that very reason.

The front desk lady is nice though. Emergency Room staff is very nice too. But Interventional Radiology is just horrible, please avoid.

My experience at MCH was great! All staff and nurses where wonderful! I will keep you all in my prayers and may God bless you all! Once again Thank You from the bottom of my heart!

Night shift was rude and unpleasant.
They were more worried about keeping their schedule than seeing to the comfort of the patient. They trough my prescription glasses away and refuse to make it right. Over all I would not recommend this hospital.

If I could give this a zero star review I would and till this day I am hurt about the situation that I can't even trust anyone to go get checked! I call to make the complaint but they hung up on me! I would literally sue this entire hospital and the people who "took care of me" unprofessional, judgmental and have a attitude! I went in with an ambulance because CLEARLY I wasn't feeling the best! I was having seizures or tics? My entire body, had severe panic attack because my tics were all over my face and neck which I couldn't breath and my heart was beating super fast even though I was just laying down. I go in and I was out of it. I couldn't open my eyes, I couldn't talk and they would see my tics/seizures and they started making comments about me over dosing and making horrible comments about me and when they took me to get a CT scan they just threw me to the table and making comments about my weight saying "God damn she's heavy" that's when I couldn't take it anymore and said to them excuse me and on e they found out I was still hearing them they tried to be nice to me but with an attitude towards me. But hold up! When the Asian doctor came in and told me I didn't have anything that they needed to know what I was doing and that he was going to report me for over dosing I got so mad and told him I didn't over dose because I'm not that type of person that just because in the past I did smoke some marijuana to help with my pain and anxiety he got mad and told me "well I don't know what you put in the weed" like my dude! I'm telling you so you can help me plus it was CBD you can get at a freaking smoke shop! He was so mad he then hit me with "well either you start taking medication (pain killers) or stick with weed" and I told him I was going to stick with weed because they keep giving me pain medicine and I don't like it because it makes me feel stupid, sleepy and a massive headache and the cycle continues and just depending on narcotics will get me addicted and I don't want that. Hell I can't even take an aspirin without thinking I will depend on it because I grew up in a abusive home who abused drugs like that. He laughed and walked away. I will eventually have the balls to confront this situation and hopefully people end up getting fired! I don't want any money in return just a freaking apology for the experience and the mental health state they put me in!

This place has had a friend for several hours in the emergency where he needs to be treated because his appendix has already burst, he is waiting badly and nothing that they treat him and operate for God's sake and I come here and I realize the bad reviews that this hospital has. And apparently they are not interested in doing anything to change it

Thank god I got a second opinion. I wasn't taken seriously in the ER and they discharged me saying a had a headache and nothing more. I went to another doctor and it turns out I had had a STROKE.

I took my infant son in on May 19th he had symptoms of a persistent fever, body rash congestion and red lips. Though the staff was very kind I wished they did more. All they did was tested him for Covid and rsv and then sent him home and told me to continue Tylenol. I took him home but he got worst and had a gut feeling it was not a simple viral infection like the doctor told me. I ended up back in Midland ER because he was severely dehydrated and he had to be transferred to Lubbock children's covenant hospital because he had a rare autoimmune infection called Kawasakis. If I didn't take him back in it could have been possibly fatal and could have damaged his heart, arteries. He is recovering and so much better than he was. I understand ERs get busy but like I said I wished they had done a little more before sending us home.

How hard is it to get good nurses! If you don't like your job go do something else. Seriously, people are sick and the last thing you want to deal with is rude attitudes. I hate anytime I have to step foot in that hospital it's beyond disgusting how you are treated here.

All they care about is money. I came in with bruised lung n fractured ribs n they did nothing for me just sent me on my way. I had a little fluid on my lungs they said probably blood from fractured ribs n I should watch it. How would I watch it? All they care about is money

Came with nausea and pain, the er nurse wanted my info but i couldnt talk due to the pain. She then said "what? ! I dont speak murmurs". Then found out i was pregnant they find out i cant afford the pain med for a D & C so the physician then said " if you can tolerate the pain then we can perform the D & C" i said no and they sent me home with no medication and a pregnancy that they said had wont come to full term. They sent me home hoping i would have a natural miscarriage. Point of the story some of us have no where else to go and get treated as if were doing them a favor. Ive been in the healthcarefor years and i have never experience such terrible care and terrible attitudes. If you can help it save your money, get some good insurance and avoid this heartache. By the way they keep sending me bills almost everyday and i am not going to pay for horrible care. Ill never be the same.

At the reception they treat you very unprofessional. I just left for another hospital and I arrived with an emergency, incredible that there are so few people

One of the RN’s laughed at me when medication had a bad affect on me. (I suffer from panic attacks and the medication sent me into a severe panic attack.) She told the other nurses while laughing, “yeah, this girl is freaking out in here. ” Highly unprofessional behavior. Not to mention that they dismissed me after an hour of being there and the medication lasted two whole days.

Took my daughter for seizure and nothing was done only three tests were done. Drove to El Paso for a second opinion turns out she has 2 other viruses and is getting an eeg. Very disappointed. First and last time I ever go there. Midland does so much better as well as staff.

How this hospital has a 3 star blows my mind. You really need to focus on your ER admitting reception. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. They seemed as they were picked from the bottom of the barrel. A nurse is required to be professional, caring, compassionate and empathetic. This place is really lacking all that. The one star that I gave is way more than they deserve.
