Medical City Dallas Hospital

Horrible. Ambulance brought us here from Highland Park. EKG machine doesn't print, 45 minutes to get medication, call light no where in reach, vitals not taken but once in 2 hours, urine specimen sitting to extended times, every alarm ringing on monitor. Had to call nurse 3 times. Response, I been at lunch.

Terrible experience…would give zero if option. My daughter tried to commit suicide…was she offered ANY HELP? NO! Just cut her loose like nothing ever happened … I am so upset I can’t believe it. This situation is awful, but I thought she might get help…what a joke. This just reinforces my opinion that the world of medicine is complete garbage and I will never voluntarily seek any medical advice ever

I had my daughter recently and Sadie, & Allison (BSN’s) and a Dr.that his name started with the letter K (I don’t remember) by far the best staff I could have ever come across. I was 36 weeks pregnant and gave birth thanks to them, made the entire process great even though I was struggling with labor. I hope you guys get commended! Thank y’all so much!

Went begrudgingly tonight.the time element was not the issue, but a CAT scan and an ultrasound for a UTI is excessive~ great insurance, so why not?

Blood draws are hard~ especially for three non-medical staff, say 30 monutes.lovely RN "dug right in. " Bood blisters do go away~ maybe in time for Christmas.

Squashing a cockroach while calling Uber in Atrium A is the best reason not to return.

They are all confused about my perception drugs, changing the dosage of my drugs without consultation with me never clarifying about diagnosis and more.

If there were a 0 star rating i would pick that. This is an very unpleasant experience with my mom she is devastated because they told she had a endometriosis and a tumor and that she had to get a hysterectomy done. They only care about money! Not about her well-being! My mom she hasn't been her self she is so scared and they just completely destroyed her. My mom cries mostly all day, all she wants is to be herself again I love my mom but I don't like to see her like this because of this bad doctor.she sold her car to pay for the surgery bc she got so scared.

I had an appointment today with the transplant team and let’s just say I got turned around completely. A woman names Sabrina (I forgot to get her last name) building C 4th floor was amazing. She stopped what she was doing to look up information. She walked me to the office which we found out they moved. She then walked with me to the suite they are now in. She was so very pleasant. Thank you Sabrina for making getting lost easier.

Do not recommend you take your child to the emergency room here. Horrible experience! Did not get into an individual room, was seen in the hallway and continuously pulled into a room and then sent back to the waiting away. Was there for over 5 hours. Literally was sleeping in the hallway with an 8 month old baby. Felt like a scene from a movie, in 1991.

Our youngest had surgery and had to drink from these1 ounce cups. In support of the patient, daughter, sister, and friend, we CHEER her on with our own little, one ounce cups. Thank you to our EXCELLENT NURSE SIERRA in Tower 5 for providing SUPERIOR NURSING SKILLS! THANK YOU REY CASTILLO for amazing care for our daughter! Thank you Medical City.

Horrible experience. Poor staff organization and planning. Waited over 7 hours for surgery. No one even came to check on us. Asked.foe a patient advocate manager but only head nurse came. Same excuses. Will find a Dr that uses another medical system in the future

Dr. Clark has absolutely traumatized me as a first time mom. I literally break down in tears every time I think about how I was treated giving birth. I will tell my story to as many people possible and advise people to not go to her. Google her name: Dr. Camille Clark and actually take in what the reviews say. My story is there as well, I don’t know how other doctors are at this office, but if you want a peaceful vaginal delivery for your birth plan, run far from her.

AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS

1) Theft of personal property: ER nurse took my phone to recharge it so I could call my boss. She made a show of putting a patient ID sticker on it, setting her timer to let it charge only ten minutes before retrieving it. When the alarm went off she had other things to do. I asked and asked for my phone back, and sure enough when she finally got around to it, it was gone. I asked where she had put it. "In the waiting room five feet away. " I complained that if I'd known she was going to leave it unattended in a public area I would never have agreed. She insisted the whole hospital is a public area. I later learned the front waiting area nurses' station had a charging station-the only charging station in the ER-behind the desk. I asked to make a report and she stated the hospital has no such procedure for lost or stolen property. I said I wanted to make a police report, and she got defensive and asked whom I'd file the complaint against. In the midst of the search, a tech told me that there had been much theivery in the unit-including nurses' property.

2) Poor follow through on medical care: Nurse (can't remember if it was the same one as above, but I believe so) asked if I needed pain meds. I said yes. She put in a request. I was discharged before any new meds arrived. I asked what had happened to the order, she said the doctor had declined the request. It would have been nice if someone on the care team had bothered to tell me at the time the request was denied, rather than leave me hanging.

3) Clumsy care: Another nurse had to remove my athletic shoe prior to the procedure. I'd hurt my leg, so was expecting greater sensitivity, but she basically walked up and was ready to crank the shoe off my foot before loosening/undoing it properly (Boa straps). I had to yell so she would stop and listen to my instructions on how to remove the shoe.

4) Worn out and unimpressive facilities/equipment.

There's more, believe it or not (information provided at discharge was completely insufficient, e.g.). Many workers did an admirable job, but all told my experience there was outrageous and demoralizing

Dr. Oren Y Zebaida and his staff is so wonderful. I’ve been coming here for three years and I recommend this doctor for anyone.

Do not come here unless your LIFE is on the line. Been waiting three blanking hour's for them to fix my blanking blank IV! Hopefully, I won't die here

Worst experience ever. My doctor send me here cause he felt I might have a blood clot but no one was there to even help for the scan and no one to even reply. Parking is another issue for ER. After 90 mins the doctor said he forgot to put my order. I felt like my pain is just a joke for them.

Best hospital at Forest & Central Expwy!
They have always taken good care of me!
