MedPost Urgent Care of Seguin

Honestly I was a little worried about coming to this clinic based off of the Yelp reviews but my son needed to be tested for Covid and they were open. We received his results within less than 24 hours. We honestly were treated very well! The front seat clerk was very kind and the nurse and doctor were very helpful and answered all of my questions. If need be I will definitely come back to this MedPost.

If I could give this place zero stars that's what it deserves. I never leave reviews but this really got to me. The unprofessionalism that James and Amanda (front desk receptionist) showed. My husband who is a veteran and has been injured came in with shoulder pain we walked in about 5: 45. My 12 year old son also needed to be seen because his throat was hurting and had been around family with strep. My husband checked in no problem. I was standing in line another gentleman walks in after the receptionist instead of assisting who was next in line helps the other gentleman fine no problem. After she assisted him She then asks what issue my son had which I said his throat was hurting and was around cousins who tested positive for strep she then says mind you this is 6 p.m they are booked and can't see my son. My husband then says he would let him take his spot. I asked Amanda for a number to call she rudely says well I'll let you speak to my manager. James comes very rudely I asked why my son couldn't be seen. (I'm thinking this is a place of business and still the fact that it's still 2 hrs before closing why they couldn't see my son. I could have waited no problem) James was rude decided he did not want to let my son or husband be treated and threatened to push the button to call the cops. Really get a grip. I'm a mother concerned for her son like any mother would be. The older gentleman customer then makes a smart comment because I wanted a number to complain to. James said he would note I was rude which I wasnt, until they got rude with me. After the customer made the smart comment James and Amanda laughed. So very unprofessional. These people really need to be trained better how to talk to people and handle people who are sick or in pain. I will never again go to this place again. Very disappointing in these people's so called professional behavior. James hesitated in giving me his name he basically said it was on the sign and that there wasnt a number to call. He also stated that he was doing my husband a favor because he doesnt treat chronic pain. My husband has had a Torodol shot in the past at a Medpost clinic in San Antonio no problem. Torodol is just an anti inflammatory medication not like hes asking for something stronger. My advice to anyone dealing with pain dont waste your time coming here.

Took my son to the Med Post this morning for hives but the Dr on duty told me I need to take him to the ER so 2 1/2 later they gave him liquid prednisone.
I am sure the Med Post could have treated him and turns out he has sent 3 other people here too.

Very nice staff. They were very busy but they let me know right away if someone cancelled, so our wait wasn't long at all.

I walked in with pain in my shoulder radiating down to my finger tips. Told the lady at the front desk and she replied, 'sorry we're booked up until closed, you might be able to be seen after we close'

I'm not waiting for 3 hours to might be seen when they are the only urgent Care that takes tri west when I drove from stockdale. What's the point of an urgent care if you can't be seen?

They took my insurance. The wait was short and they took care of me in an efficient manner. Everyone was very courteous.

They said they took chip i called ahead arrived before five then could not figure out how to enter it tried to call but took so long it was after 5pm. Really feel like the girl was clueless or they saw we where from out of town and wanted to take our money. Now we have to take the sick child back home to get him care.

All my questions were answered, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Fast service without the cluster and waiting. Sanitizer and masks were available for use. No waiting for medicine to be called into pharmacy. I’d visit them again and again and refer family and friends.

I have always had very good experiences using this center! I like that I can make an appointment and not have to sit for hours. All the staff has always met, or exceeded my expectations!

I went to this clinic today as I have always had good experiences. For some reason, today was very different.
I went in feeling poorly more than likely die to the coldness the weSther came us this week and had started feeling a general malaise.
As usual, they got me in and typically the nurse came in and asked me about my health concerns.
She then took these concerns to the dr who said he would guve me a short acting and extended release injection of steroid as I explained to him this is what usually worked for me.
When I came back, the nurse brought in an injection but she told me it was only the short acting steroid which I explained to her would not be effective in the long run for this condition.
She then told me they would call in a Tx to Walmart for me drool fosepak.
When I got yo the pharmacy, they had written got 5 pills of prednisone 10mg which is really different from medrol dosepak (a difference of the drug methptednisone which is stronger than prednisone and the quantity of 21 pills. I am a dr. As well as I have a degree in pharmacy. I know about drugs and what works for my body.
Another thing I do not u derdtand is why the dr’s put a stethoscope on your lung field and not even early listen to see if there is congestion. He even said he would prescribe Thessaloniki peeled and completely forgot about that.
I had the dr and nurse to call me back when I realized what they told me they were giving me did not happen. They never called back.
I would like to still hear from the Dr as to why this mistake.

Short waiting time. I felt I was listened to. Polite and friendly staff. I will definitely go back if I need the Urgent Care again.

Rude, every person in there was rude and didn’t even act like they cared. This isn’t the 1st time we have been forced to come here and they where rude then and misdiagnosed my boyfriend. Which ended up becoming a huge problem. Never come here if you can help it

Very easy to get in to see doctor. Being open on Sunday was very nice, saved me from having to go to the er.

Went here because my partner got bit by a cat. It’s infected. The receptionist and Mario were super nice. The nurse practitioner however James Whitley first of all wobbles in.asks a few questions and prescribes a antibiotic. He didn’t look at or touched her hand.cleaning or anything. They were getting ready to close and we were the last patients. So when Mario came back in to give the “report” my partner said how could he of made a report he was sitting in back of me, didn’t touch it or even glance at it. This professional nurse practitioner opens the door and walks in and says “you got a problem with that? ” I’ve never in all of my life had a healthcare provider treat a patient that way. We will be contacting medpost cooperate our insurance and absolutely file a formal grievance. This was completely out of line And definitely needs to dealt with. Will not be back to this place.

The staff was nice and comforting. I hate doctor's offices/medical visits but they made sure that I was comfortable and talked me through everything.

I normally don't write these, but after reading many of the negative reviews of Medpost Seguin, I decided to write this one. I guess many people don't realize how lucky we are to have an Urgent Care facility in Seguin. Prior to that you had to go to San Antonio or the ER. Those complaining of high bills because they don't have insurance, head on over to the ER let's see what they charge you there! I have been there several times over the years and have always received great care, they have always had a corteous staff, the nurses are always friendly and do their jobs and explain what's happening and what will happen next, the doctor comes in, friendly, assesses your situation and gives you his diagnosis and treatment plan. Things don't always go as planned. The last time I went one of the meds he was going to prescribe would have had serious interactions with a med I already take and we had to change the treatment plan. His thoroughness saved my life. Thank you! I recommend MEDPOST, you can call in advance, use their app to schedule your appointment, those of you saying you got there and others went before you, this is why.

Everyone was friendly, I came in for a drug test and a physical for an employer. My wait time in the lobby was about 7mins I was out with in 20 mins. I did schedule an appointment, I know walk ins take more then an hour to be seen. Overall I recommend this medpost location

I was a late evening patient and everyone was very courteous, even though it was getting to closing time. They really did go above and beyond to get me through (I was pretty sick and feeling terrible) and I appreciate all the kindness and assistance they showed me.

I went there on a Sunday to get a DOT physical certification as I'm a truck driver and they were able to get me in and reasonable time and out and reasonable price. The staff is very polite and professional and able to answer questions. Thank you guys for being there when I needed you. Look forward to the next time I need services

Poor service! I was here when it opened, and I still had to wait. Then other people went in front of me. Time to go somewhere else!
